Not sure if anyone can help. Have been told due to IVF pregnancy they will induce me around my due date/before.
Has anyone that’s been told this been able to opt for a c section? I have on going back issues, lower wear and tear on my spine being one of them so I’m quite anxious about the impact on my back during induction/labour x

I was induced at 38 weeks but ended up with hyperstimulation and had to have an emergency section the next day. I started having strong contractions but nothing was opening and the baby's heart rate was raised.
If you want a c section you have the right to have one. As mentioned they may try to talk you out of it, but they have to agree one if requested these days. I’m booked in for one this week - I was also told I’d need to be induced by 39 weeks if not. X
Hi Lucyhannah. Try not to worry about this, as I'm sure you will be able to have an epidural to cope with your back problems. The staff will look after you, and will be aware of your back condition. They will want a safe delivery of your little one, so trust heir expertise. Thinking of you. Diane
