Slight swelling and pain in right hand one week post angiogram procedure. Should I be worried?
There’s no
bruising
or redness on the swelling. GP has put it down to post op swelling and signed me off as I do a job which means using my hands & lifting. Been told to use a wrist brace and ice packs and rest it. It’s not feeling any better so far.

Husband back in hospital
When I saw him I agreed, his chest was bright yellow, very swollen, and he was struggling to breathe, rang for an ambulance, gave all his details explained his history, they had an ambulance with us in 30 mins, he had
bruising
everywhere, god knows what he had been doing, and when the paramedics checked

No more regular Rheumy appointments - 😁. Arm healing.
My shoulder is getting better, though the
bruising
is still stubbornly ugly, and I’ve still a way to go. Still waiting for Cardio… But it’s all looking a bit more positive Go gently 😊

Sure enough and true to what I was told I am now +24 hours and my legs are hurting not where they were previously but instead where I had been pummelled - no signs of
bruising
yet - but give it time.

Infection after Laparoscopy - really struggling
The
bruising
is also horrific, I had nothing like this before. Yesterday, I ended up having to go to A&E, because thick liquid was dripping out of my bellybutton incision, I couldn’t stand up straight, and it smelt extremely unpleasant.

Pride before ...
It's not swollen so I'm hoping that it's just some internal
bruising
, no worse than the nice bruises I made on the heels of my hands. 🤞 Ironically, I see my Garmin has responded by increasing my V02 Max score by a point! 😂

Silly me!
I have a lot of deep
bruising
and feel very cross with myself ☹️. Can an accident trigger a further flare? Ps... next time I will use a non-slip bath mat. Thank you in advance. 😀

Post Splenectomy
I have not had any issues with bleeding or
bruising
. I am in my 70’s. Has anyone else had a similar experience after having a splenectomy.? Do you have any recommendation as to what has helped increase your platelets. Thank you in advance.

Laparoscopy confusion
I’ve also been in a lot of pain from the surgery, took my bandages off today and belly button looks weird and I’ve got loads of
bruising
on my stomach too!! I think this is more of a rant than anything, I just don’t have anyone who really understands :(

Hi, I’m a 71 yr old female with angina, late onset asthma and osteoporosis. All reasonably controlled with medication. My reason for joining this forum is that I’ve had problems with my legs for over a year now and my Gp can’t find a conclusive answer. What happens is my lower legs periodically develope

Bruises
Hi all I've finally got a haematology appointment coming up next month but wondered if anyone else here has, in addition to
bruising
generally , have recurring bruises?

More alternative treatment
I finally got over some bone
bruising
so I made an appointment with a body work guy. He is a local miracle. He has trained in Europe India Hawaii and California. He has a very mixed discipline. He pushed and shoved and squeezed and coaxed.

Questions about Jakafi
Currently on aspirin and clopidigrel (Plavix) and other than lots of
bruising
, no other issues. However platelets at last phlebotomy were 1093 and have been that high for a while. RBC and WBC both high.

Circumcision stitches do nothing
I had the circumcision two weeks ago, I have no swelling or bleeding or
bruising
but since last week I notice that one side is perfectly cooked and healed but the other side is completely open wound as if the stitches are not there. I contacted the surgeon but he told me not to worry.

Bruising due to Apixaban?
For the last few weeks I have had what looks like two purplish small bruises or blood blisters, each about 1 square cm, on a right big toe. These look fairly insignificant but are quite painful to walk on. They seem to be more painful in the mornings. I have covered them in plasters and used corn pads

Heart ache - stress different from exercise (angina?)
I used to have angina, from exercise - drugs and a stent has stopped that, though I did experience a lot of '
bruising
' ache after the stent, particularly when I tried to be 'normal' again and not wrap myself up in cotton wool - though I'm now so keen just to be normal and to do exercise without fear.
