Circumcision stitches do nothing

I had the circumcision two weeks ago, I have no swelling or bleeding or bruising but since last week I notice that one side is perfectly cooked and healed but the other side is completely open wound as if the stitches are not there.

I contacted the surgeon but he told me not to worry.

What do you think? I am very worried.

If there are no stitches in places then that area will heal a bit more slowly by what is called 'secondary intention' - essentially from the bottom of the cut upwards instead of starting with the two cut edges directly joining together.
