abdominal haematoma and apixaban (persistent Af)
Was told to stop taking apixiban for 14 days and to go back if pain worsens or
bruising
appeared. When I spoke to GP he agreed with 14 days but also referred me for a scan that will probably take several weeks for appointment!

Anyone try Methylene Blue?
I was experiencing tennis ball sized Hematoma's and
bruising
without injury, as well as visual distortions and some facial numbing. Currently taking 12 - 500mg. Hydroxyurea a week to keep platelets in check, as well as a baby asprin daily.

Week 7 -Run 2- feeling frustrated/dispondent
It feels like
bruising
, and the next day I’m hobbling slightly and sore. This generally lasts for a couple of days and eases up. And that’s when I run again. However last night the pain started ‘during’ my run, after about the first 1.5k.

Been to get my dressing changed on my toe.......
The
bruising
has not changed much yet and i had to go into the opticians to get my glasses straightened as i had bent them when i fell over. My hubby says he saw bone when he had to dress it before i went to the hospital. So that toe is in a bad way. Have a lovely afternoon everyone.xxxxxxx

Coming off Ticagrelor after 2.5 years
Recently the
bruising
and swelling following any minor knock particularly on my legs has been horrific so even though I am not technically under the care of this cardiologist I sent him a picture of my bruised legs and he told me to stop Ticagrelor and continue with the other meds.

Worried about my son, TBI survivor
He suffered skull fractures, bleeds to the brain,
bruising
to the brain, open fractures and various other injuries. Miraculously he survived. He is experiencing extreme fatigue and just a walk from his room to the kitchen will exhaust him.

Views on my test results
Worryingly I am reacting very badly to mosquito bites, small puncture wounds and cuts, and
bruising
very easily, wounds take unusually long time to heal.

How to persuade TSH-obsessed Endo I'm not over-replaced (on T3-only)?
Until I stopped the levo I was so shattered I was receiving NHS Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Therapy and was actually under the care of an NHS Neurologist with brain MRIs etc because my brain fog, memory, balance and co-ordination were so dreadful I kept falling and

i have massive
bruising
on my right arm ,it started just under my elbow then got bigger down to my hand, now it looks like some of its healing and some are new ,I keep having blood tests ,but the doctor says it's because my liver can't do the clotting properly and I'm on warfrin, platelets are 40 since

But I’ve noticed strange
bruising
for which I cannot account for? It’s always tricky as I’ve always bruised easily anyway. But these new bruises seem to be in strange places and not my usual knocks or bangs if that makes sense.

Hi all, I'm new here
In November of 2022 I fell down the stairs and landed awkwardly against a solid breezeblock wall.... unfortunately the way I landed meant I had a moderate concussion with
bruising
on the brain and the subsequent side effects.

Down to 1 mg Pred and how to let go?!
But as many have mentioned, the
bruising
is ridiculous. If I look at my legs the wrong way, a bruise appears. I will do self-tanning and makeup this summer but it is far from an answer.
