5 months on LDN and still depressed / fog / anxiety

Hello:

I have bee taking LDN for... depression since last Dec. 2022. Taking 1.5 - 2 mg around 8AM

Yet LDN does not seem to help much...

I am feeling quite desensitized, a bit brain fog and difficulty concentrating and feeling way more anxiety bouts. (Had prolonged Covid Sept-Nov. 22 and I believe it is over...)

And I will wake up by 5 or 530 Am some days...

I started at .5 an increased by .5 mg weekly up to 2.5. 3m. But I had to dial down the dosage from 3 mg because I just could not sleep. I was told to take in the AM.

Now someone else said she splits her dosage between early AM and just before going to bed.

Any recommendation?

I feel caught between rock and hard place... Not sleeping not helping with depression yet low dosage not helping either...

Can LDN make your emotions more numb? And some brain fog or difficulty focusing? (I have also had regular muscle strains and a bit of bruising lately - though I can work out fairly regularly so I doubt any leftover from prolonged COVID....

Thank you in advance for any input - comments - suggestions.

H.P.

Are you sleeping when on 2.5? Some people find taking in the am eliminates sleep disturbances .

Usually side effects will disappear after a couple weeks. Increasing weekly doesn't allow that time.

Patience is key with this medicine. Once the 'sweet spot' is found, benefits come gradually and can take weeks or up to a year to see.

hasn't helped me with depression or anxiety. I'm taking 3 mg/day, divided dose, 2 in am and 1 before bed.
