Coughing Fits
Hello I'm in a bit of unchartered territory at the moment so would really appreciate some advice from fellow sufferers who may have more experience dealing with it. I was diagnosed with asthma as a baby and had it throughout childhood. When I reached my teens it vastly improved to the point I didn't

Asthma hospital referral
Morning all, I've been referred to the hospital as my gp is struggling to keep my asthma under control. I've been asked not to take my medication beforehand... can anyone tell me what to expect from the appointment... other than a wheezy morning... thanks

Lap cancelled an hour before going down
Hi warriors, I'm feeling pretty low right now and needed somewhere to vent... I was due to have my lap yesterday to get rid of the superficial endo and endometrioma. (I have stage 4 but we decided not to touch the bowel stuff yet because of fertility). Unfortunately once I was there, and in my gown

Back to school 🧑🏫
Making sure your child is managing their asthma well is important throughout the year but especially so after the long school holidays. Preventer routines can sometimes be disrupted during the summer break and child asthma action plans can go out of date. Take a look at our handy reminder of top tips

PSPA Poll re urology and stoma product use
If you live with PSP or CBD or you have a loved one living with one of the conditions, we'd be keen to hear if you use urology or stoma products as part of your day to day life. Please leave a comment below or just like the post if you do use them.

Hello there, I am new here! In fact, I have been diagnosed with asthma last year, and I am so unexperienced about it, that's why I have a few questions. I'll be grateful if some of you could answer to them! :) So here's my little story: I have been diagnosed with asthma last year and for the first three

Smoked with Asthma, Duh 🤦🏻♂️Did you?
Here’s an open, honest and frank story. This isn't a pity me story just an opportunity to vent with a like minded group. Its not every day we get to meet those who can relate to our plight. As a young child I had mild enough asthma but I did end up in hospital at about 6 years of age for a few days.

Swapping inhalers soon after asthma flare up
Hello, I had a fairly bad asthma flare up yesterday and am still very rough. I have been prescribed Pred and the specialist has recommended changing my inhaler from Seretide which does not seem to be working to Symbicort 200/6. Is it safe to start on the new one when still unwell? Thank you in advance

I was wondering….
I am currently on Dulera and Singulair. For rescue, I take Ventolin. The last appointment I had with my asthma team, the pulmonologist added Qvar to my Dulara. Singulair and Ventolin stayed the same. Has anyone had puffers added to their everyday maintenance puffers, and what classification would this
