Good afternoon everyone,
I thought I'd share this uplifting blog with you all. Have a read if you get chance.
Well done Imogen 👏
"My clever little girl saved my life that day. I am so proud of Imogen. I would tell any other parent with asthma how important it is to teach your child what to do if you have an asthma attack."
Three-year-old Imogen and her mother Kayleigh were playing in the garden when Kayleigh’s asthma was triggered by smoke from a neighbour’s bonfire. A couple of hours later she was having an asthma attack.
When Imogen realised that her mother needed an ambulance she said ‘Mummy, you need to call that number now’ - meaning 999. Kayleigh dialled 999 but was too breathless to speak on the phone so little Imogen stepped in, calmly guiding the ambulance to their home by describing what their house looked like and the colour of the front door.
We want to congratulate Imogen on her bravery and quick action. You should be very proud!
