ļ»æFrustrated and hopeless....
ļ»æI just wanted to vent and share with people who might be going through something similar. ļ»æI am nearly 35 and have been waiting for a date for my excision surgery since November. They think my endo is now stage 4 and in my bowels, bladder and ureters. Despite being at the top of this waiting list

Symptoms are breathlessness mainly at night, mucus of chest thatās hard to cough up, tight chest which relieves when taken inhalers. Spo2 is around 97% slightly

Asthma and Universal Credit
Hi everyone I haven't worked for a few years due to my asthma, I was actually forced out of my last job due to taking time for asthma but that's another story...! I am thinking of going back into work as there seems to be a lot more working from home jobs than a few years ago due to Covid and I think

mesh repair? [Thread contains photographs]
Am wondering if anyone has had this repair for parastomal hernia and outomes? Am considering getting this done. Saw colorectal surgeon- didnāt fill me with enthusiasm due to risk of it recurring. I am beginning to look like I have a fully inflated helium balloon lurking! I wish I had been advised on

Well, that was a disaster...
Sorry to post twice in one day š I just had my asthma review (phone appointment) since changing from Relvar to Symbicort. I told the nurse that the Symbicort had been working really well but I've had a flare-up in the past week and my asthma's been all over the place since getting a cold. I explained

Newly discovered allergies and link to asthma
I posted a few weeks ago as I was having a bad flare up of asthma post-covid. I had a asthma attack at home and saw my GP shortly afterwards. Because it happened out of the blue at home and not due to my normal triggers like exercise, smoke, pollutants etc, she decided to do some allergy tests and

Any link between high T3/ over replacement or under replacement and asthma?
Hello helpful people Has anyone ever noticed they get more wheezy/asthma symptoms when they are over or under replaced with thyroid hormone? I used to think it was a coincidence but my onset of asthma symptoms seems to coincide with the need for a dose adjustment - usually a reduction. Iāve never

Easter break š„š°
Will you be celebrating Easter this Sunday? With family get togethers, indulgent feasts and time spent with friends, Easter weekend is a celebration for many people. However, some people may find that their asthma symptoms get triggered ā this could be down to the weather, pollen or different foods
