Anxiety
Currently woke up feeling anxious. I want to cry and stay in bed. My heart is beating like crazy, nauseous and my head hurts. A lot of things going on today. Trying to plan simple things that can allow me to get through the day. Hopefully a few breathing exercises can help. šHow are you guys doing?

Long walk after ET?
Hello lovely people, I had my first fresh ET on Monday and was told to continue with my normal daily activities but refrain from heavy lifting and excessive exercise. I am usually a very active person who moves a lot and goes on daily walks - this helps me greatly with IBS, hemoroids, endometriosis and

Always sleepy and struggle to rest
I am new to this group, yet I am reading that we all are having similar challenges with sleeping and calming our minds. I am just staring to use breathing exercises to wind-down at night and then on to meditation. Has anyone developed and other successful coping mechanisms?

A very unwelcome visitor
I posted in January about being discharged from hospital cardiology after I declined a second ablation because Iād been AF free for over 12 months. Unfortunately, last Saturday AF appeared out of the blue! I only discovered it by chance as I was not aware of any pulse issues. I had a slight headache

Tinnitus/Anxiety
I was diagnosed with Anxiety Disorder in June 2023 which was brought upon by having to wait for a major bowel operation which was eventually carried out in October 2023 which really stressed me out. I was prescribed Citalopram 20mg for my anxiety and I am still on this. In late August 2023 I suddenly

Tips and Tricks for Panic Attacks
Iāve been through CBT, grounding, self visualization, etc. I know about rubber bands on my wrists to snap, 333, breathing exercises, sticking my face in ice water, aromatherapy. Are there other methods people are using to help get over active panic attacks? Just want to help each other. Thanks

Oxygen saturation
Based on our experiences the last few days, I wondered if low oxygen saturation is a common issue in PSP?My husband was taken to A&E in an ambulance on Monday - after ECG, blood tests and chest X-ray, it turned out that his chest pains were just muscular and that his heart and lungs were perfectly fine

My Mom needs heart surgery & I'm a terrified, 47 yr old baby
I feel so selfish. My MOM is the one who needs her aortic valve replaced, not me. But here I am, terrified of the upcoming surgery. Terrified of how terrified I'll be. Why can't I reframe my thinking? Why can't I look at this as this will save her?! Quick background: I'm 47, female, never married, no
