Well another day had no issues for 2 weeks then had a bit of indigestion last night woke up. at 5 am wet back of my knees heart raved to 110 bm controlled it by breathing then doing some gardening about midday had a issue went up to 130bpm felt the rush stopped work done some breathing exercises and back it came down unusal because I am on 1.25 bisoprolol and 120 microgammes of digoxin is this a one off or have a missed a trigger point or the meds not kicking in a bit of a mystery today

Sounds like gastro issues are the main culprit.

TBH - that would be completely normal for me anyway as the HR is not that high - but I don’t take any meds to control HR. My HR always goes to 90 after eating & 120-130 on any exertion.

I pay more attention to symptoms than numbers.

I get really flustered when getting to 130 ish breathing gets a bit laboured due to bisoprolol I have been told

Have you confirmed that these episodes are afib? With the information given, including the heart rates, unclear. The gold standard to confirm afib is an ekg and you can do this easily at home now with a device like the Kardia or Apple Watch. I find it take a lot of the anxiety and guesswork out of the different types of tachycardia's (higher heart rates) that some of us experience. Sometimes they prove to be normal, but sometimes they suggest treatment should be modified.
