Does anyone have any info on this subject hubby stopped smoking after being on icu in induced coma and on life support in Feb he stopped smoking but now wants to go on e cigs I am not happy about this but is it better than tobacco

Hi I stopped 23 months ago using the ecig I went to a stop smoking group and they were happy with me using it. At the moment it is a lot safer than normal cigs. I know many people who have stopped using one.

Lot of tobacco companies produce ecigs now

Some say are better as long as not used as long term tobacco replacmeant but in helping stoping all togeather.

Was just resersched published saying damges blood vesals.

But what do fags do ?

Would be ideal to stop but guess can only try efag see how he go's

If he is not smoking now do not let him smoke ecigs if you do let him get him a low one

My husband had ecigs for 5 years. Didn't stop him getting lung cancer.

If he has been off cigarettes since February he has done the hard bit and conquered the addiction. Why on earth would he now want to start becoming addicted to nicotine again? Please tell him to stay where he is.

Best to wean himself of the ecigs, they have nicotine in them and I am not convinced they stop people smoking.

Everything is better than tobacco. I have 3 sisters and one niece using e-cigs and doing well. I personally used patches with the odd micro tab or gum when desperate. Been off fags for 15yrs now. Otherwise would be dead by now!!!!!

I nearly died back In feb,copd I stopped smoking then a few month later I was introduced to ecigs,wish I never touched them,I was ok but now I feel I’m hooked on them, my advice is stay away from ecigs if u can as they can hook u in
