Can You Refuse Certain Blood Tests
I had a consult with a Livi doctor last week for non thyroid related issue, he wanted me to have a load of bloods done. I've checked online and see what he's ordered. It includes B12, which is pointless as I'm on jabs and have been for years, so B12 always very high. ( the lab always moan and point this

Thyroid test calculator: Any changes desired?
Hi all, I wrote and support the
blood
tests
calculator (https://thyroid.chingkerrs.online/ ). I am on Jury service for the next two weeks and wonder if there are a few improvements I could work during the expected waits?

Ana vs ENA
Hello, After many years of joint pain and 5+ years of eye troubles, I was given a series of
blood
tests
including autoantibodies. I've come back positive three times now for dsdna autoantibody (the second two tests simply being repeats).

Further Blood tests
Hi, I posted previously with blood results and my symptoms which are: -painful neck and shoulder muscle - feel so exhausted I could cry - constant sore throats - numbness in my hands and forearms - really heavy and prolonged periods - weight gain no matter how well I eat and a nice puffy face!

How do you deal with a very dry mouth?
After
blood
tests
, scans & X-rays the rheumatologist says I have rotator cuff disease which being referred to shoulder surgeon and more than likely sjogrens. Blood test showed false negative apparently. Although I do have the symptoms of SS & Raynauds. I do chew gum daily & sugar free sweets .

Stopping ezetemibe
No symptomatic side effects, though
blood
tests
show
blood
sugars and liver enzymes up and kidney function a bit down. I thought that would suggest staying on ezetemibe and dropping statin, not the other way round. Don't like the statin pushing the blood sugar up to 40.

Did I mess up my blood tests?
Yesterday I went to have
blood
tests
after being diagnosed with hypothyroidism a month ago. I took 25mcg of levythyroxine (?) before having the test but have now read on here that I shouldn't have done this? My TSH levels were 9.5 last month but are now back to normal but maybe this is why?

Up until now I have just had regular
blood
tests
through my GP surgery. I had an Ultrasound before diagnosis which was normal but have not had a Fibroscan. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
