can you help I’ve been diagnosed with PMI 12 years ago, have been on 2 mg of pred for the last month started getting a symptoms of a flare up three days ago went to see my GP and he sent me for blood tests, waiting for the results unable to contact my consultant I do have appointment next week can you suggest how many preds i should increase until I see my consultant

The usual advice for a flare is to add 5mg to the dose where you flared for a week or so before dropping back to the dose you were last good at. Although it might be worth the consultant seeing you with the flare.
PLEASE don't use your user name as the title of a post - use it to indicate what your question/point is, attract readers and bring up Related Posts. In this case something like "flare at 2mg" would have been better, Your name will appear anyway, that is automatic.
