Regular Check-ups - What should be tested?
I have a GP appointment (not my usual GP) on Tuesday and would like to know what regular check-ups/monitoring I should be having and what
blood
tests
I should request (and at what intervals).

Warfarin to Edoxaban
I'm told it's safer and no INR
blood
tests
. I'd like to know if I still need to avoid the same food when on Warfarin e.g cranberries, grapefruit etc. Also, contact from anyone who has been moved from Warfarin to Edoxaban and their experiences. Thanks.

At the start of the journey where they’re putting me through so many investigations,
blood
tests
, new medications and my body just can’t take it.

New diagnosis - MBL or CLL?
I did another B12 related test for Intrinsic Factor I think - and everything handed back to my GP. 6 monthly
blood
tests
, as expected. Some questions for the experienced and knowledgable on here: Do I need a review or second opinion?

Anyone turn down a stem cell transplant?
Neither Dr will/can say what changes in the
blood
tests
, which seem stable, or BMBs would indicate a need to move to get the SCT sooner rather than later. My gut feeling is that I don't want the SCT even though I know the outcome will not be good.

Immunoglobin Blood Test.
I had an appointment booked for
blood
tests
4 days later. These were to rule in or out the cause of Osteopenia - low bone density mass.I now have Covid. Nurse rang me with blood test results yesterday and said they were normal apart from the Immunoglobin one which should be at 2 but was 2.7.

GP appointment and blood tests - will recent steroid injection skew results?
She sent me for
blood
tests
today which included CRP, ESR, Rheumatoid factor and various other tests relating to autoimmune conditions. She insisted I call back for review even if tests come back normal for referral to Rheumatology.

Post heart attack
He had recent
blood
tests
as he is on 85mg statins , so he has annual checks but results came back with kidney disease, very concerning although GP has said that on a scale of 1 - 10 his kidneys were working at 7 which isn’t concerning, again we’re not sure .

Diagnosis About Turn?
But, as of yesterday and copious
blood
tests
within the last three weeks, I have been told to completely withdraw from the 30mg of Pred' that I am currently taking, dropping 10mg straight away, then 5mg every two days - making an 8 day complete withdrawal.

Update on severe skin lesions
She did all kinds of
blood
tests
that ruled out just about everything. The lesions cleared up, so the rheumatologist has okayed doing another infusion next week and seeing what happens. Fingers crossed that there is no repeat and it was the Colchicine.

Need more info on related symptoms
Blood
tests
showed no infection but after it persisted my URO gave me a round of Cipro which after the whole dose seemed to work. But after a week or so the symptoms returned. Tall Allen said these may never go away. Does anyone else have similar problems? Or treatments?

Worried
All
blood
tests
for Thyroid hormone levels have been normal all along which I find odd as I feel like I have symptoms of hypothyroid. I have been feeling awful for about 2 years - weak, breathless, exhausted, appetite decreased.

Week 4 complete
Then doctors Monday to look at a plan for the weird
blood
test. And at some point results of other
blood
tests
and in January another test, a specialist in Feb and back to old rheumy in March 🥲 I am actually getting on really well with the 3 days a week every other day routine.

Blood Results
She was very sympathetic and did me a full run of
blood
tests
. All came back ‘normal’ my TSH even slightly down to my last test. Bloods were taken at 9.15am as advised. I am not prescribed any thyroid medication and take 3000 vitamin D. What does everyone else think?

just below normal Vit D symptoms
Quite comprehensive
blood
tests
only showed that his D3 level is just insufficient at 49, when acceptable levels should be 50+. Is it possible that his symptoms could be down to his D level? GP recommended he supplements, which he’s just started.

Advice about using private health?
The only real result was the ANA at 1:640, but the additional auto-immune
tests
were negative (image attached). (Note: the Nuffield
blood
tests
don't come with any medical advice before or after, you just get sent the results).

Why did my infusions get stopped?
My last
blood
tests
show inflammation and my joints are very painful, worse than they’ve ever been. I feel I need an infusion. Thanks for reading to the end of you’ve got this far!
