Morning all! I’m getting some blood tests tomorrow.. intrinsic factor IF (low B12 & folate) FBC and celiac? Questioning forPA?

I have got my own B12 ampoules! Do I start my B12 complex at the same time as I start injecting? My folate is awful 3.8ug/L (<2.9) I have been taking my B12 complex sporadically as been having blood test! I also ordered methyl folate 1000mcg shall I take them as well?

Start your B12 first for a couple of weeks then add the B complex.

How much folate does your B complex have? You may or may not need the 1,000mcgs methylfolate.

Are you supplementing vit D?

How is your iron/ferritin?

B12 has other cofactors, particularly magnesium which you may need to supplement.

Hi Jaydee1507 B complex has 400mcg Folate! I have got some extra folate 1000mcg? Yes I do take vit D supplement think it’s 25mcg daily! My iron/ ferritin is 96ug/L ( 13-150 )

Perhaps retest 3 months after starting the 400mcgs folae and see where you're at. It wont go up any faster taking a higher dose.
