Hi all, I received this, this morning. Amazing how much is going on behind the scenes 😀 Medical research newsletter, well worth a read. Maybe consider taking part? I'm on a drug trial for an alternative statin. It hasn't affected any of my usual drugs, no side effects, regular 6 monthly blood tests. If anybody wants details PM me. Follow this link 😊

the NHS app gives access to research you can take part in (as I have).

Thanks for this summary. Of the subjects in which I’m interested, press releases have been issued so I’ve read about them in the national press.

It’s good to see a summary so thank you for posting this.

Hello :-)

I might know in my eyes you would be brave enough to do a trail I wished I was but have all on taking the meds they have me on :-)

Good for you though as it is people like you that help us all by doing this :-) x

there are plenty of ways to get involved without having to take part in a trial - i recently took part in a way which was completely "paper based" ( actually online) - no need to even leave home!

Hello :-)

That sounds more like something I could do thank you for letting me know :-) x

well done for getting involved and for spreading the news - many of us bemoan the apparent lack of research in fields which affect us, but how many of us actually do something about it?

i think it's also important to say that they are ways to get involved which don't involve being part of a trial - i recently took part in a totally online way, no medication, didn't even have to leave home!
