I have recently had some
blood
tests
done due to low vitamin B12 and long term issues with iron deficiency.

. I must say he was very thorough I have also got a follow up appointment in August. He asked how many mg’s of predisilone I was on which is 5mg but made no comment on that.

Chronic kidney disease
My recent GP-ordered
blood
tests
have revealed chronic kidney disease. I have been told that an appointment will not be necessary. My creatine count is very high this time but B12 etc. are fine. Should I worry; everything online says this is serious.

Accessing NHS hospital test results
I'm sure I've read that we can access results for
blood
tests
etc at hospital via the NHS app. I only seem to be able to see GP services and even then it does not have my GP surgery test results or records.

Salazopyrin
Hi advice on Salazopyrin I've been taking Salazopyrin for some months with regular
blood
tests
. Inflammatory arthritis and colitis. All was going well until I received a phone call to say stop taking them because my last blood test showed a problem with red blood count.

Chronic migraine and chronic sore throat
As usual,
blood
tests
are fine. Antibiotics work for the throat when it gets too bad, so not just in my head. Most of the time my migraines get better while I am on antibiotics, hence my questioning.

My levels
I had
blood
tests
recently and my TSH was 5.78 and T4 was normal at 13. I really don't like taking Levothyroxine. Is there any case that I can stop taking Levothyroxine? Am I subclinical? Many thanks Mika

Biotin and ESR/CRP Testing
I was alarmed to discover tonight that biotin can potentially skew
blood
tests
, and wondered if ESR and CRP tests are affected. Any thoughts?

Feeling anxious about appointment....
Prior to this I've had abnormal
blood
tests
for a while. I'm anemic but my iron levels, vitamin b12 levels are fine... I've had a number of UTIs this recent couple of years and have now pushed for my GP to look into it, I've been referred to a Nephrology consultant.

Hoping there's no need to worry.
To my mind, both Haemaglobin and platelets are doing ok but I'm ignorant about other aspects of the
blood
tests

B12 stored in liver ?
Hi I'm getting a little confused and trying to understand what is actually measured with
blood
tests
... Does a serum Total B12 reflect what is or isn't stored in the liver at the time of the test or just what is circulating ?

Having Private Blood Tests Done. Asking for Peer Review.
I am going to have some private
blood
tests
done. Not worth discussing what is needed with a physician who has no idea what is needed.

Who should I contact?
I've been diagnosed with graves disease and put onto carbimazole and beta blockers, I didn't have any
blood
tests
for the first 6 months and started to feel better from my original symptoms, (terrible hand tremors, palpations, anxiety, hair loss, lots of toilet visits) then worse in a different way,
