Blood tests

They told me they will perform a CT scan as soon as possible, and in the meantime, they have put me on Carbimazole 10mg until August 22nd, when I will have blood tests for a review.

I later went to my and had ultra sound scan and some blood tests performed. The blood tests came back normal but the scan showed fatty liver. I had a brief telephone conversation with my GP and he advised lifestyles changes and I have since cut out alcohol completely.

We've tried elimination diets (dairy makes a difference), We've had blood tests to look at absorption issues (bit low in iron), he's been referred to paediatrics (no life threatening issues), referred to dieticians (not much help). Now finding it a bit difficult to swallow.

Is there a recommended program of blood tests to check for diabetes,Vit D levels, calcium uptake, PMR and anything else associated with this disease of ours?

fortunately not showing any symptoms other than increasing white blood cells, which have been stable the last 3 blood tests. right now the doc says this will most likely be something i die with not because of, fingers crossed.

My lovely lady GP has asked me to have blood tests roughly every 6 weeks and if they come back with my ESR levels in the normal range to reduce my Pred by 1 mg. So far so good but a week ago I reduced from 4 mg to 3mg and since then have been feeling achey and more tired.

Hi again, and further to my last post could someone please advise me on recent blood tests. After appointment with Roseway labs Pharmacist on 23rd April I increased T3 to 10ug daily .

Blood tests came back- there has been some reduction in inflammatory markers but white blood count is high and red is low. My last RF factor was neg. I have no idea whats going in. Should i see private rhematologist? Just dont know what to do.

He wants me to go to hospital for blood tests tomorrow, would it be better to go later in the day? Think he wants me to go in the morning but I think levels are high first thing?

So my question is, if you too have been in remission, besides blood tests every 3 or 6 months, what tests are standard? A PET scan, bone marrow biopsy? Wondering what your experience has been. Have you had any follow-up?

My daughter has asked her GP for B12 injections (I won't always be around to do them) she has been called in for a blood test, however stating NICE guidelines didn't help. She has previously been misdiagnosed with MS and even her neurologist wrote in a letter last summer that nothing abnormal was found

After blood tests, scans & X-rays the rheumatologist says I have rotator cuff disease which being referred to shoulder surgeon and more than likely sjogrens. Blood test showed false negative apparently. Although I do have the symptoms of SS & Raynauds. I do chew gum daily & sugar free sweets .
