Positive mitochondrial antibodies m2 but normal liver enzymes
Hi members, just after a bit of advice please. I have hashimoto's and due to blood tests which were requested by my endocrinologist, positive mitochondrial antibodies m2 were found which he says could mean it is primary biliary cholangitis. I went for an ultrasound and I am due to have a consultation

Thoughts on T3 dosing please.
I take T4, alternating days with 100 and 125ug. Also T3 15ug each day. All in one go at 5am (I set an alarm). I know you guys have said consistency is key with T3, because it has a short half life. However quartering the tablets to get 15ug (3/4 of a tablet) is awkward. So I was thinking, cogitating

More test results to understand
I have now seen an endocrinologist and had another set of tests. My TSH is not measurable at < 0.02, my FT4 is within range at 20.9 (11-22.7) and my FT3 is 5.9 (3.5 -6.5), much higher than it has ever been before. My previous results on 15/04 were TSH 0.02, FT4 23.6 (12-22), FT3 4.7 (3.1-6.8). These

B12 and feet
Hi all, Have posted before. I have been on 3 monthly B12 injections for a long time, and recently been put on 2 monthly injections after a blood test due to symptoms getting worse. One symptom that seems to be getting worse, very hot feet, pins & needles really painful to walk on. Any suggestions

Thyroid test results
I’ve been taking 200mg of thyroxine for most of my adult life. Now the doctors have reduced to 150mg I returned to the doctors to say I felt awful. All my symptoms were returning. So they issued another blood test. They have came back saying my TSH level is too low and reduced my dose even more.

Low phosphate levels linked to hypothyroidism?
Hi all, I am under close monitoring for my kidneys by a renal consultant. I had severe acute kidney injury (AKI) caused by sepsis last year and am very slowly improving. At my recent six monthly blood test, my phosphate levels had dropped and they are now below range. The trend for this has been dropping

Graves - blood test
I bit the bullet and have messaged the GP this morning and requested a blood test ... I'll wait and see if they'll allow it. I realised whilst crying AGAIN in the shower this morning that something was very wrong, as I was struggling to get up again this morning, unable to go for my usual walk and crying

Low salt levels
Is there a private thyroid blood test recognised by the NHS because my GP will only test for TSH. I had quite a heated discussion with him but he still said it wasn't necessary!! I went to see the GP because of itching on my arms and torso . I think this is quite common with thyroid problems ?Also has

Bruising
Sudden bruising on legs and arms. Blood test is ok but I still have this. It can be an effect of levothyroxine?

Statins/Eczema/Psoriasis/Itching
I've been on 40mg Atorvastatin since my HA in May 2021. Last November I noticed I was doing a lot more itching. Had a blood test, my bilirubin and ALT levels were raised. Whilst trying to sort that out, I noticed u was breaking out in blotches/red spots and what look like small fungal patches. My GP

Hi what does TSH level 4.73 and free T4 level 8.8 mean? I have been struggling for years with tiredness (I also have fibromyalgia). This tiredness is different. I'm struggling with it now. Achieving very little. Every time I have a blood test, which is not often cause I get told everything fine, no
