Hyperthyroidism blood results.
Morning all, I posted here several weeks ago as I had been taken off Levothyroxine after high t4 results. I have half a thyroid as had a benign growth. I paid for a blood test and after a couple of issues with the finger prick tests, I got a nurse friend to take my bloods. I got the results this morning

ICU Stay Neuro Challenges
Seeing if anyone has any insight. On May 16th my mom (62 years old) went to her cardiologist with chest pain. She did have afib for the last three year but she had that under control. When she went to her cardiologist on the 16th he sent her to the ER just because he was concerned with chest pains

Elevated Gamma-GT and gallbladder stone
I posted a while back about how my GGT value was increasing over time and with every repeat blood test it was elevated further. All other enzyme values in normal range, I had an ultrasound this week and it showed one gallbladder stone. I have no symptoms of gallbladder issues - no abdominal pain etc

Hi all - now that I am finally medicated and also had loading doses of B12 (and I paid for vit D3) injections, figuring out supplements I need to take alongside figuring out what is triggering my hyperthyroidism - I wanted to check which I should NOT take prior to the blood test I have finally got to

New journey?
I was diagnosed with PMR in April 2020 and have reduced from initial dose of 40mgs of Prednisolone to 5mgs, where I have become a bit stuck. Today I have been diagnosed with GCAand put on 40mgs and return visit to GP next week, with blood tests in between. Just wondering what my journey will be like

A month into Pegasys, Australia …
hi, I was diagnosed with ET JAk2 positive in Jan 2023 and confirmed with BMB in May 2023. On low dose of Hydrea for 6 months tho with lots of side effects, I decided I couldn’t remain on this for life. Female, 61 years with 2x TIA’s into 2019. So some time off and now one month into weekly injections

How do I know if I have PA?
My issues with B12 only came to light after booking an iron infusion with Dr. Klein earlier this year. He asked me to stop taking any b vits for a month prior to my blood test. After 3 weeks of not taking B12 and other b complex supplements my health rapidly deteriorated. I became weaker by the day

Results in - All looks normal
Good morning. The results are back from the private full thyroid blood test that I had. Posing the results here, and looking for advice. All appears to be normal BUT, I still have chronic insomnia, weight gain around my mid-section, lack of energy, and low mood. Any advice greatly received. Thank

Thyroid blood test and splitting T3
I have a thyroid blood test on Thursday AM and am taking T3. I know I split the dose the day before but am currently on 15mcg (so 3/4 of a tablet). Am I ok to take half (10mcg) and then a quarter (5mcg) 8-12 hours before? Splitting in half will be tricky. Many thanks in advance!

Headaches and nightmares on T3 monotherapy
Hi, does anyone else get headaches and nightmares on T3 monotherapy? I have read the side effects leaflet and it states that 'headache' and 'insomnia' are two of the side effects; since I have been on T3 only I often wake up in the night and have a very light sleep compared to what I am used to, then
