Smelling Issues
What I really mean is I'm smelling bad. Any guys out there having an issue with an odour from the groin area? Though it was jock itch from chafing but Tinactin did nothing. Shower daily but still there. Used an antiseptic wipe and stung bad. Not sure if it's Parkinson's related but I thought I'd check

Urinary Retention 8 months post hysterectomy
Hi. On the 31st of October I had a total hysterectomy with ovarian conservation. Since then I experienced recurrent UTI symptoms. By the time I got to my 7th time my GP referred me to urology. I had a cystoscopy in which debris was found in my bladder. I started medications that just made things worse

Pain above pelvic bone? 15 weeks pregnant
Hello ladies I'm almost 15 weeks pregnant and in the last few hours I've noticed like a sharp stabbing at times throbbing pain that comes and goes just above my pubic bone. I've never felt this before so its freaking me out a bit. I've read that ligament pain could be starting about now but everywhere

Endo diets
My zoledex injection has been cancelled and as I don’t get on with anything else I’m going to have to live without anything for a while. Does anyone have any recommendations on diets to follow that may help with pain? I tried the endo diet quite some years ago and didn’t get a great benefit from it but

Role of Liothyronine and Desiccated Thyroid Extract in Hypothyroidism
Here is an article in Endocrinology Advisor. It, at least, acknowledges that the above can be helpful. I thought it might be interesting. https://www.endocrinologyadvisor.com/home/topics/thyroid/levothyroxine-and-combination-therapy-in-patients-with-hypothyroidism/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email

Is massage therapy treatment effective for back pain?
Hey there, I'm from Thornhill, and I'm here to get suggestions from you guys. Has anyone tried massage therapy treatment? I had met with an accident a few months back. There were only some minor injuries, and it's getting better with time. But my back pain is unbearable. I'm stressed due to this. Recently

Anyone taking Avodart (Dutasteride) as your only form of ADT?
Just curious as to whether any of you have been able to control your PSA after recurrence? Since dutasteride is an inhibitor of all three 5a-reductase isoforms, it appears to be an effective suppressor of DHT which is a considerably more potent androgen than the testosterone it is derived from. Not Time For Lu 177
Just got the results from my c11 pet/ ct scan. The scan came back showing 1 small spot on the left side of my prostate bed. It is not enough cancer to do Lu 177. Dr. Lam thinks we can radiate that spot. Could that lead to an actual cure or a long remission.

Nefopam?
I had a video consultation with my pain management doctor and one of the recommendations he made was to prescribe nefopam. He said this would be an as needed medication and I could take it up to 3 times per day in addition to my other pain meds (baclofen 10mg 3 times per day, paracetamol / dihydrocodeine

Does Omeprazol affect Levo
Hi all, I've been on Omeprazol for gallbladder problems which caused pancreatitis. My gallbladder has been removed but I've still to check with doctor if I need to continue taking it. Since I've been on it my skin especially arms, legs and body, has been very dry. Flying like snow when taking off clothes

Question about Pluerex catheter part 2
OC weeks back someone give me some information on getting a pleurx catheter. I now have the pleurx catheter which was put in yesterday morning. It hurts like 'all get out' right now. If you've had a pleurx catheter can you let me know if feeling early bruised and sore is part of the deal? And how long

Another PET scan and ?
I just got another PSA test because I am scheduled to have a second Axumin (sp) PET scan in mid may. The last one was inconclusive so I don;t want another unless there is a good chance it will be diagnostic. My PSA is now 75 representing a doubling time of about 4.87 months. The test before that

Dry very itchy eyes
I think I have posted for advice re. eye problem before and for a time was taking Hycosan, hycosan extra and hycosan night which provided quite a bit of ease. However no longer working...anyone got any other suggestions?, opticians only dealing with emergencies at present.
