Question about Pluerex catheter part 2

OC weeks back someone give me some information on getting a pleurx catheter. I now have the pleurx catheter which was put in yesterday morning. It hurts like 'all get out' right now. If you've had a pleurx catheter can you let me know if feeling early bruised and sore is part of the deal? And how long does this last? My painkillers did nothing for it.

I was due to have one of these today but it didn’t happen. I have had 2 drains put in.. on my right side the pain was minimal but the left was a different matter. I have read that the extra stitches for the in dwelling drain can be sore for a few days. Hope it eases off for you.. keep me posted xx
