Rising psa

Hello everyone,

I’ve had prostectomy ,radiation, Lipton, and finished trial at md anderson that included apoluedamide, zytega, and immunotherapy. Worked for about a year but now scans show my two lymph nodes with cancer doubled in size. My psa is creeping up but very low. Was .1,.2,.3 and now .6. They just want to watch it. I feel great, no other mestasis(bone, organs) but I’m not comfortable just watching.any thoughts?

SPM

I am in a similar scenario.

I finished the METACURE trial in January. 11 months on all 3 ADTs, SBRT to my spine; radical prostatectomy.

Today, on a 90-day surveillance check, my PSA was up to 0.7

I scheduled an axumen (sp?) PET scan and am getting my head right to return to the fight.

Good luck! I’ve had 40 weeks rad, surgery, and lots of meds on trial. Wondering what else can they do?

I get ct scan bone scans and mri every 3 months as part of trial. Just wondering if they can give me more / new meds to stabilize agsin

Those are pretty coarse scans. Unlikely to turn up tiny mets causing your PSA rise.

Also got 1 month psa result yesterday. Doubled tho 1.9 I’m a month. Can they add or try new drug rather than ‘wait’?
