New here: prolapsed rectum and straining to do soft poos??
Sorry for long post and lots of poo details! My son suddenly started wetting the bed nearly every night a few weeks ago (he's nearly 7). He's had a few wet nights in the past but we'd never worried about it before. No UTI, so we started with an alarm. Then we realised he had been/was having soiling

Anyone had news on re-starting lap or other procedures?
Hi there Has anyone had any news on their postponed procedure? I'm awaiting a laparoscopy. Had an MRi pelvic scan with contrast dye prior to lockdown and the results indicated no convincing evidence of rectovaginal endo, it mentioned a nabothian cyst but I suspect this is quite common. Despite this,

Never had a laproscopy
Is it worth the surgery? I am trying for a family which has miserably failed over the years. My past history is Chronic Cystitis, Loop excision 50% cervix left, recent luteal cysts and now inflamation of the ovaries. Raised CA125 with a large abdomen and only 34yrs old and never had children or ever

Pleurx catheter?
I had a pleurodesis just under 3 months ago. It hasn't worked as I had hoped. I am not sure if I am a candidate for a pleurx catheter as it seems the fluid buildup in my lungs is slow, at least for the time being. I noticed that the fluid build up rapidly increases every third treatment after I have

Nearly 9, bedwetting
Hi, my son has struggled with bed wetting on and off since he was 6. At this stage, his grandad died and he moved schools. Since then he's regularly wet the bed. Since lockdown, he has been better and had a few weeks dry, but this week he's been wet 5 nights in a row. Any suggestions? He's never had

Limits on UCLA PSMA Tests
I am on a “vacation” from adt/zytega. Because I Had focal Chryo originally to treat my prostate, I retain about 60% of a healthy prostate. Therefore my current psa of 2.09 could be related to healthy prostate tissue and not my cancer. In fact at my last PSMA test at UCLA, with a 2.0 PSA, my test came

Advice/tips for 3.5yo stool withholding?
Hi, I'm new here and am desperately looking for some advice/tips regarding my 3.5yo son. He was only recently diagnosed with constipation/stool withholding after daily daytime wetting. He has been out of diapers for 9 months and all of a sudden started wetting himself. Toilet training for bowel movements

5 alpha reductase inhibitors, DHT, and uPSA
Would like to hear thoughts regarding the use 5 alpha Reductase Inhibitor in a 79-year-old PCa; status post RRP 2016, GS 3+4=7; +EPE, neg #24 PLND, who over the last 15 months is exhibiting a slow rising uPSA. This has not reached 0.050 but has reached 0.030 and trending upward. Reason for this consideration

Not The News I was Hoping for..................
............Had my clinic appointment today with CT scan results and Niraparib has not worked for me, the scan shows extensive progression, and quite a few enlarged lymph nodes all over, also liver, bowel and peritoneum nodules. Plural infusions and lung nodules. To say I am devastated is an understatement

Bladder Cancer Blood Test
I have damage to my bladder as a result of Prostate Cancer Guided Radiation Treatment, in 2013. I have had a couple of instances this year of small clots, in my urine. The last Urologist that used a scope up my penis to check for Bladder Cancer, a few years ago, caused a lot of pain and bleeding. I

My ten year old had never been dry at night since 5 years of age. Over the last year it has improved considerably, not wet every night, though saying that this week he has so far! Usually tends to wet early morning(5-6am) we tried an alarm four years ago(via enuresis clinic) very briefly but he hated

Post-period Bladder pain
Morning! Just a quick one - 3 days after my period, I get bladder pain or at least lower abdominal pain. Anyone else suffer with this? I’d just like to know as I suspect I have endo. Once again, if this is a symptom I’m one step further in my investigations. Hugs to all Laura
