Biopsy results post MRI . Help with suggestions on read up and treatment options ( Gleason 3 + 4)
Thank you so much for your inputs. My father finally had his MRI Fusion TRUS biopsy and below are the results. I am doing all the background work on what the course of treatment would be (leaning towards radiation). Your input would be highly valuable when meeting with the RO. Quick History : My Father

5 Year Anniversary
Morning all! Today is my 5th anniversary of starting treatments for the Beast! Currently with a PSA of .31, cancer in prostate mostly gone. 3 bone mets have shrunk significantly and another one is now undetectable. Been a roller coaster ride, full of excitement and fear, but well worth it to get here

After months of urinary tract problems, I was finally diagnosed with Stage 4 Advanced Prostate Cancer with a Gleason score of 9 by the VA
Multiple Myeloma was first suspected because there were more than 5 metastases that showed up in an MRI. We wasted a couple of months going down that rabbit hole. The APC diagnosis was confirmed in January of this year. The oncologist put me on Firmagon in February and Zytiga plus prednisone in March

Evolutionary Dynamics in Cancer Treatment Part 2: Extinction Vortex Strategies
Much recent interest in Adaptive Therapy is a strategy of applied evolutionary dynamics to alternate two different treatments, or on-off cycles of one treatment, to provide stabilization between susceptible and resistant sub-populations of cancer cells to compete and stabilize populations for more prolonged

Mixed results after two more Lu177 treatments
On Monday I had a Pylarify PSMA scan after two Lu177 treatments in Munich. The results are mixed. The lymph node metastases are now much smaller but the C1 metastasis is bigger and there are now other new bone metastases. Super disappointing. This week I'll be seeking advice as to whether or not to

I.B.S AND THE PROBLEMS.
I.B.S. destroys your life in so much as the simple things like a walk, drive in the car, going out socially, yoga-you name it, is a real problem. Wearing special disposable pants, incontinence type disposable sheets underneath the main sheet and how do you regulate say imodium and peppermint oil capsules

MY PSA is 2.3 but both bone scan and CT scan show negative findings - doctor recommends i get a PSMA PET scan - thoughts?
Hello - I had my prostate removed in 2010 due to discovery of prostate cancer - stage 3. For the next 9 years my PSA under 1 - IN 2019 PSA was 1.0 Now this year (August, 2021) my PSA shows 2.3. My Urologist thinks its recurrence of PC - so he had me take a bone scan and a CT scan. Both came back

tomato sauce for prostate therapy
I saw a video where a holistic dr. mention that eating organic home cooked tomato sauce 3 to 4 times a week ,can prevent prostate cancer by %50, I would think those with mestastic prostate cancer can still help them along with what your doing like , radiation, surgery, and ADT. can't hurt because it

Dasatinib
I was interested to see in the latest from the Mayo: "
Antidiabetic Effects of the Senolytic Agent Dasatinib
" [1] Many men with PCa are pre-diabetic at diagnosis, with some of the symptons of the metabolic syndrome [MetS]. Pre-diabetics do not necessarily progress to diabetes, but androgen deprivation
