Any guys out there having an issue with an odour from the groin area? Though it was jock itch from chafing but Tinactin did nothing. Shower daily but still there.
Used an antiseptic wipe and stung bad.
Not sure if it's Parkinson's related but I thought I'd check before I go to the doc.I guess the good thing is no trouble with social distancing.

Anywhere skin oils and dead skin collect, like axilla, feet or groin, natural decay causes odor. I couldn't get rid of odor in my running shoes. My Harley-riding nephew had the same problem with his boots. Then he washed the boots in dandruff shampoo and cleared the problem. I did the same then took it a bit further. I showered with dandruff shampoo and a kitchen scrubber and stopped odor from hemorrhoids and axillae (armpits) as well as feet.
Have you tried digestive enzymes?my husband had a PD smell but something he is taking seems to have got rid of it. I think either the enzymes or probiotics or maybe the pantethine is helping digestion. Just a guess. He takes other things too so could be a combination.
I have been taking digestive enzymes for a while but not sure if they are doing anything. I mentioned my issue to the pharmacist at Costco and she pointed me to Polysporin.
