Flecainide PRN and PIP

Hi all,I am noticing my HR a bit restless right now. 10-15bpm higher than usual. And feeling what think are a number of ectopics. Also accompanied with cest pains.

I took a Flecainide 50mg and Bisoprolol 1.25 which has seemed to help V the Bisoprolol alone.

Anyone else similar ?

Hello Turquoise I had 22% ectopics a year or so ago. Bisoprolol did nothing despite an ever-increasing dose. Eventually was prescribed Flecainide 2x100mg per day. Works brilliantly for me. Very rare to have an ectopic. Take with 2.5 Bisoprolol for safety apparently. All best x

I take the same dose of flecainde as you 2x100mgs per day and also 1x180mg per day of verapamil and I’m feeling so much better hardly get ant ectopics these days.

I still get occasional pva pvc ectopics and the usual burping after it which I’ve always found odd.

Yes good to hear. I had been on Flecainide and Bisoprolol n now on reducing come the issues. Plus an AF episode overnight on 1st May, first in some time. Waiting for arrythmia nurses to get back to me.

Hi, I was put on 1.25 my bisoprolol a year ago for arrhythmia. I am tolerating it ok but it brings my resting heart rate down to between 42 and 44 beats per minute. I am not sure if this is healthy for your body... and that's all the information I have about bisoprolol. Wish you the best.
