Dull aching in tops of my arms after many months. Could it be due to bisoprolol.

Hello :-)

I get aching in my arms but very difficult for me as I suffer with Fibromyalgia to which gives the same

One thing I do know the med does and that is makes me very tired but my Surgeon insists that this med is the one she wants me on so I just persevere with it :-)

If it is getting to be to much to cope with have a word with your Doctor they migt be able to try you on something else always worth asking :-)

Let us know how you get on :-) x

Hi,I have been having high pitched screeching in my ears since taking 2.5mg of daily Bisoprolol 8 months ago, plus I have also recently started to get very sore achy arms too. I take statins aswell. GP has suggested nothing and still waiting to see a cardiologist post op after all this time so thank you for sharing as feel It's not just me and have become very worried.

Sorry no answers but at least shared.

Hello :-)

Thank you for sharing :-)

I wonder if the ringing in your ears could be tinnitus it sounds very much like it and certain tablets can cause it

I hope you get some answers when you have your appointment with the cardiologist

Let us know how you get on :-) x

I will indeed let you know. I spoke to my GP last week to be told I had been signed off even though I have not been checked in 8 months not even a BP check ( I do this myself now) but very frightening when you get problems with no answers and absolutely no closure as to whether the op was successful or not. We have all been through alot on this site, the least I would have expected is the odd check just to make sure all is going to plan.X

Hello :-)

I agree and glad you at least got to speak with your Doctor

It is frightening and I hope once you have that appointment with the Cardiologist it will help to give you some reassurance :-)

You are not alone in how you feel and can always come and talk on here :-) x

Thank you for you comments Anne,I have had a lot of muscle pain in my let calf and it does tie up with taking statins for the last couple of years, the arm muscle pains have been recent but relentless. I take 80mg so will mention again, although I will have to be more assertive as mentioned these pains before and basically got ignored by the GP.

It's helped me hearing this. Thank you again
