Repatha injections
Is anyone taking Repatha injections to lower cholesterol? . I had my first injection two weeks ago and within days I developed lower back pain. I know it is one of the side effects and believe me I’ve had them all!!! As I have to take the injection every two weeks, I wondered if the side effects continue

Bisoprolol
Hi, I've been feeling dizzy, lightheaded and was wondering if Bisoprolol Fumarate 5 mg that I have been taking every day for a few years could be the cause of my discomfort. I would appreciate any comments and advice.

Weight increase on Bisoprolol
I recently read on the forum about Bisoprolol fumerate preventing weight loss. Are there any stats that show this? I have been on 2.5mgs since 2017, alongside 60mgs Edoxaban for the episode of AF I experienced then, and my weight has steadily but gradually increased, in spite of several attempts at different

update after seeing GP
GP has told me to take Bisoprolol at night as he thinks that is causing my dizzyness.my BP was 124/80 he didn’t seem concerned when I said it’s high in the morning and he said it can take up to 6 weeks for meds to reach their full potential.he said he’s happy for me to do gentle walking on flat surfaces

Collagen and biotin
I'm experiencing hair thinning /lose, assumably menopause as all blood tests fine (GPs advice was to take hair, skin, nails vitamins) and was thinking of taking either collagen (this seems a complete mindfield as there's so many different ones) or biotin. Are these OK to take whilst on meds following

When to take bisoprolol ?
Hi , My husband is on 7.5 in the morning and I’ve reduced him to 5 in the evening as he has been so tired all the time . They only upped it by 2.5 when I rang heart function nurse when his ecg on his watch was creeping up to 130 . He was on digoxin before which seemed to keep his ecg around 89/90 but

First Post - Flecainide with Diltiazem
Hi, my first post but have been a member and avid reader of all your posts (which have been very informative) since joining in Feb 22 when diagnosed with AFib. Question - does anyone have experience of taking Diltiazem alongside Flecainide, and if so, has that been ok in terms of QoL and side effects

Persistent AF, Diltiazem, side effects or Menopause??
I apologise in advance for what will be quite a lengthy post.... :( I was diagnosed with persistent a year ago Oct 22, but likely I had it unknowingly for about 2 years prior and put breathlessness and tiredness to work/being unfit. I am 57. During that 12 months I was on Bisoprolol for 9 months and

Dizzy spells
7 weeks after my aortic valve replacement, recovering well, do get the occasional dizzy spell though, is this down to my meds? I'm taking bisoprolol, lansoprazole, asprin and atorvastatin.

Mild left ventricular systolic disfunction
At a pre opp assessment for a minor opp they identified a Left Bundle Branch Block, which I had never heard of. Eventually got to see a Cardiologist who put me on Ramipiril, Bisoprolol and a Statin, and sent me for an MRI and CT scan. Took some time and the results were just sent to GP, with no further

Pre ablation meds
I started asking you all questions about 6 months ago before finding EP. Went to Papworth Hospital in June and had cardioversion which worked straight away. However had overnight AF in early September. EP said if I had another before Xmas should go for ablation as better to catch it early. Of course
