Flecanide or Propafenone when on ALCALABRUTINIB

Last year, I changed Ibrutinib for Alcalabrutinib because of elevated blood pressure and heart rate.

For 6 months with Acalabrutinib + Bisoprolol5mg +Apixaban25mg. I was OK.

Then I had to go to ER twice in 2 months for dangerously elevated blood pressure and fast heart rate. I received a high dose intravenously of Beta blocker Bisoprolol each time and was sent home safely the next morning.

The ER cardiologist proposed to prescribe Flecanide twice daily as preventive or Propafenone if I had another episode. In reading all the possible side effects of both medications, I went into a panic and didn't feel safe to add more pills to what I was already taking.

Sorry for this long-winded story.

QUESTION: Is there anyone in this forum who has /is taking any of those two meds with satisfactory results? THANK YOU for telling me YOUR story 🙏🏼🤔

I agree but she is impossible to reach, that's why I asked here to get some idea. She was rushed the last time I had her on the phone and she did not explain risks and benefits. 🙃
