Pre Syncope/Right Bundle Branch Block

PAF for a number of years now, fairly well controlled with medication of Flecainide, Apixaban, Bisoprolol. The last 3 months episodes of AF have increased. But worryingly for the first time I've had 3 episodes of Pre syncope a couple of second period where I think I'm going to pass out. After effects have been what I can only describe as a foggy brain, or a swirly head accompanied by a thumping AF. I called 111 & was eventually taken to A&E by ambulance. I had an ECG in the ambulance & was queried by the excellent crewman whether I had been previously informed of a Right Bundle Branch Block ? .. No I said.. After laying in a side ward off A&E for 8 hrs (a war zone and another sad story) a Senior Houseman arrived & I was told that nothing sinister on ECG while waiting to be seen but when I mentioned what the Ambulance crewman had said and & showed him a copy of the ECG that the crewman had thoughtfully given me he confirmed there was evidence of this. I was subsequently discharged for review by Cardiology (hopefully next week) Apologies this is the shortest I could make the background and finally my question - Has anyone else experienced anything like this ? and if so what were those experiences like?

I used to lose consciousness from long pauses between heartbeats, sorted by having a pacemaker.

Yes, I’ve had the same but found to be pauses when my heart reverted from AF to sinus which is the opposite of your problem. It was very scary and I felt frozen until the dark mist cleared.

Sounds like my experience of AF all along. I only found out about my RBBB from a letter sent to my GP from Cardiology. I'd never heard of it. I was experiencing pre-syncope and skipped beats + very fast beats
