Apology and lard
A few days ago, I replied to a post on here about beta-blockers and cold extremities. I was a bit negative, complaining about my icy cold fingers now that I am on bisoprolol. This was very bad of me and I would like to apologise for neglecting the important and positive aspect of beta-blockers. Instead

I’ve just come back off holiday and I picked up a very Nasty bug. I had sever diarrhoea and a very high temperature along with chills and headache etc. it’s been really bad, was on a drip twice while I was away. My question is this, so my heart rate while I’ve been unwell has averaged 112bpm even when

Update on ablation and follow up
Rather a long time since I last posted but Wilson’s post yesterday about her delayed second ablation has prompted me to do an update. My ablation, at the end of August 2022, went well and I received excellent care during the procedure. However, I have had very little support from the hospital since

Ramipril and bisoprolol, blood pressure.
Hiya all. I have hypotension, and concentric hypotrophy reaching 18mm thickening. 2.5 bisoprolol and 5mg of Ramipril. Heart rate dropped between 55-65 resting. Blood pressure just fluctuates 135-85 maximum. Any advice.

Medication and Memory

Do I ask GP to increase bisoprolol?
My last post was about anxiety and AF. We are waiting to see consultant privately next week, mum is still not feeling relaxed and finds it difficult to explain her symptoms other than to say she cannot relax and doesn’t feel herself. I’m wandering whether to try and speak to GP before our appointment

toenails
in 71 years I have never had a problem with my feet but suddenly my toenails are becoming white and too thick to cut. Could this be my HF meds ( bisoprolol, spironolactone, astovastatin, Entresto, Clopidogrel and lanzoprazole) ?

Bisoprolol in the evening?
Apologies if this has been asked before but with ongoing nausea at night (albeit reduced greatly by wrist bands) my pharmacist has suggested I take Bisoprolol in the evening rather than in the morning in an effort to reduce nausea. Is this something others have been advised? Did it have an effect please
