Collapse then AF
Dad has mixed dementia and is 90 in May. He lives alone with my support. He has a history of collapse dating back to the 1990's but only three in all that time. Hello, I have just started Dapagliflozin 10mg in January to treat my heart failure-added to current regimen of Ramipril and Bisoprolol. Experiencing fatigue, headache, stomach pain/nausea, sweats and reduced appetite. Would like to know how others manage their nutrition/intake to avoid hypoglycemia

Bisoprolol Experience.
On the 4th of April, 2023, I had a Triple Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Operation. I was then prescribed Bisopralol 10mg, a day, including to help control my high blood pressure. That was despite my telling the hospital doctors that that might not be suitable, because Betablocker medicines like that

bisoprolol and anxiety
last August doctor put me on bisprolol 1.25 to lower heart rate and help with blood pressure. Since December I have been feeling anxious not sure why. I don’t relish the thought of having to come off them as I need them. Has anyone ever experienced this while on them May I ask

Advice for travelling with AFib
Hi guys! Tomorrow morning my better half and I are taking a 10 days trip to Morocco. It's a 3+ hours flight. I'm an PAfib-er since exactly 3 months ago. Currently only taking propafenone twice daily. I stopped with bisoprolol 5 days ago (1,25mg) to stop the dizziness and low hr and possible anxiety

Bisoprolol every other day?
I’m going to wean off 1.25 mg bisoprolol. I only have access 5 mg pills so I’m already cutting that into quarters and can’t make it any smaller. (This was all advised by my cardiologist). I’m supposed to stop cold turkey, but am afraid of withdrawal/ rebound. Pharmacist advised I take a pill every other

Sudden ‘Possible Afib’
In November last year, I had my third, very extensive and arduous ablation which also involved 3 cardioversions. I felt pretty rough for quite a while afterwards, much worse than the previous two, but I have enjoyed 10 weeks of blissful NSR. My heart rate has been 50 - 60 bpm and my EP has reduced my

What to expect after stopping bisoprolol?
Hello. After a meet up with cardiologist, I was advised to stop the bisoprolol 1,25mg which I take daily. The reason I did a meet up is my daily anxiety, bradycardia (40s in rest) and dizziness. I need to continue with propafenone (anti arrhythmic) and currently waiting for an ablation date. My blood

Updates on AF meds
Hello. Had appointment with AF specialist yesterday at Berks Cardiology. Everything went well. He explained everything in detail of my options, and basically said it's my choice to do whatever I wanted. I told him I wanted to exercise again at the gym, he said I could do whatever I wanted to do, but

Mixing medications
Apologies if this is a well repeated question, but not sure how to search for old posts where l’m sure there is an answer! Does anyone know of a good site where one can search for drug interactions? Have tried the pharmacy which is okay if you can get them to answer the phone and I won’t start on problems

AF Meds
After an AF ablation had a pm fitted due to sluggish feeling. Have since been prescribed Edoxaban, Bisoprolol and Candesartan. I had issues with breathless and tight chest plus Lactic acid build up in hips, so they prescribed Amlodipine and Nicorandil thinking it must be Angina but i feel as bad
