I recently started taking bisoprolol taken about 11 over three weeks under doctors instructions I would like to ask if anyone had experienced and facial flushing with this tablet. It’s either that or I am coming down with a chest infection which I had beginning of year and that’s how I started along with getting more phlegm which I believe can be this med but I have asthma too would appreciate your comments Thankyou. I luckily have a doctors appointment on Thursday

bisoprolol side effects
I've taken bisoprolol 10 mg for years now with no side effects.
Hi Tinker.
I’ve been taking bisoprolol for 6 months and haven’t had those side effects you’re describing.
I do get a runny nose! Random…
It is possible the flushing is related to bisoprolol, 3 weeks on the tablets isn’t long though. Your body may need time to get used to them.
Great that you have an appointment on Thursday, you could write down how you’ve been feeling and take it with you, just so you don’t miss anything when talking to the doc.
Let us know how you get on 😊❤️
Ummm we see a number of complaints about the side affects of Bisoprolol. I started taking this drug 4 years ago and got the constantly runny nose and phlegm. Other than that I can’t think of much else and can’t report the flushing you speak of. Good idea to get your gp’s input. The symptoms can settle down a bit so try not to worry too much, you’re doing all the right things. Sue
Been on bisoprolol (amongst others) for about 9 weeks now, only side effect for me is an occasionally runny nose.
I’ve been taking bisoprolol 2.5 for 8 years and I suffer with hot flushes which can be very embarrassing. I’ve reported the sweats many times to the doctor and every time they send me off to get tests and that’ll come back okay. Doctors have been reluctant to change this drug which is why I’m still on it. I look forward with interest if you have bisoprolol changed so please come back and tell us what they have put you on.
My cardiologist once asked me if I tolerated bisoprolol with me having asthma.?
He said it can definitely aggravate asthma and told me to keep an eye on myself.? I only usually get asthma when I get hayfever and touch wood Iv never had any issues.
my gp ⭐️ me on bisoprolol 2.5mg and apixaban 5mg approximately 21/2 weeks ago after an ecg and eco. Unfortunately I also take a cocktail of tablets for spinal pain. Lucky upto now I’ve not experienced anything other then fatigue. As you will be seeing your doctor soon I think it’s a good idea to write down all you are feeling to discuss at your appointment. We are all different and take different medications so our reactions are also different. At least written down you won’t forget to mention anything. Take care, angel pears
