sotalol side effects?

Hello everyone,

I have had long term problems with beta blockers -that I take for my arrhythmia- metoprolol and bisoprolol as well as carvedilol have been problematic- but I have just started on a new one called Sotalol.

I took 40mg of this drug an hour or so before bed, but five hours later was woken by the most horrendous intestinal pain I have ever experienced . It lasted for 5-10 minutes and four hours later I don’t feel recovered even though the pain level has decreased considerably.

Has anyone else had this experience with Sotalol?

Would love to hear your thoughts ,

Thanks
