Time between MRI and biopsy
I have been given
biopsy
date 10weeks after MRI. It seems quite long to me. I go to Stanford health, which is one of the top places and the person doing the
biopsy
is one of the top uro-oncologists. I am just worried about the time lag. I guess if you go to top places you have to wait.

IMRT WITHOUT SPACEOAR PROTECTION (EPE) WORRIED ABOUT RECTUM PROBLEMS (PROCTITIS) & IMRT (20x,28x,???) vs SBRT
I am going to have to have IMRT for 20 treatments at UCLA as opposed to the 5 Sbrt treatments as the EPE on reread on my
Biopsy
identified the extracapsular extension. My Ro thinks that: Not to have spaceoar as it may trap the Extracapsular extension microscopic cancer cells .

GCA OR TMJ?
Well after going through all the GCA tests, including
biopsy
which shows a 3 cm piece of the temporal artery with no extra wear and tear, it would seem that Rheumie cannot definitely say it is or isn't GCA and so has begun reducing the Pred.

In a small area at the site of previous

biopsy
. Please can some body explain this ..........! I appreciate any answer

biopsy stitches?
had my temporal
biopsy
about three weeks ago. All seems to be healing up ok, no problems I’m aware of. The stitches used are dissolving ones. They seem to have degenerated somewhat but are just hanging bits that don’t seem to be going.

Just found out I need a kidney transplant
After a
biopsy
, we discovered that my kidneys are even worse than the numbers show. I am so overwhelmed. My mom could possibly be my donor, but if she is, she wouldn’t be able to be my support system after we both have surgery. I’m not sure who could support us if my mom is my donor.

Leg Numbness and Tingling
My husband was diagnosed with PCa recurrence in November after PSMA and
biopsy
of lesion at L3. He's been experiencing some numbness and tingling in his right leg for about 6 months. Now his left leg is feeling the same.

NASH worries
Biopsy
proved NASH ..NASH with stage 2 Fibrosis. I reduced my body weight through intense walking / jogging . Subsequent MRI revealed fat fraction in liver is only 3 to 4%, no evidence of ascites, normal spleen. I'm non diabetic, cholesterol levels normal .

There’s concern that taking a
biopsy
of the lining of her lungs will trigger an inflammatory reaction and potentially reactivate her pneumonitis. So it would be difficult but not impossible to get another
biopsy
to see if she’s currently HER2-Low.

LPR? Advice please.
Was refused a check up by a GP ( quote; The NHS don't do those any more. ) but managed to wrangle a gastroscopy by a reckless and arrogant 'medic' and ended up with a hiatus hernia and thrush, then told I did not have Barratt's so she didn't even bother to take a
biopsy
.
