UK and abiraterone availability
But at least olaparib is now available for BRCA, though there is something of a backlog on
biopsy
testing apparently. But again worth a question for those who are progressing on Abi or Enza.

GCA tapering
as I had a positive
biopsy
but I would have to try the Methotrexate first. My question is- at what dose & time scale would you normally be put onto Methotrexate? I really don't want to go on it & even after 2 days of reducing to 22.5mg I am not feeling that things are 'quite right'.

She decided to do
biopsy
there & then - so now awaiting results & I’ve been put on antibiotics for next 6 weeks - when next appt is. What I wasn’t told is how pain full my arm would be after the anesthetic wore off🫣🫣 but hopefully will be worth it if I get a definate diagnosis.

Long Story then Question: Ibrance or Pikray?
The liver
biopsy
of my metastatic breast cancer indicates Pikray as the one. I know that Pikray is bad for the liver but it seems to go with Fulvestrant which is what I am on and what has finally become ineffective. Ibrance seems to go with Letrozol.

The endo biopsy revealed cancer
Yesterday I received the
biopsy
results, it shows a tumor carcinoma high stage, they need to complete the test by immunochemistry test, and I'll get the results after 15 days.

Do I need more T4 or should T3 be added?
Although
biopsy
of nodules was negative it is being repeated next month in conjunction with nasal endoscopy which I assume is routine. In the meantime I have had two dose increases since starting on T4 25mcg on 23/12/22; 50mcg on 10/2 and 75mcg on 31/3.

Rising PSA...again..
In December 2017 I was diagnosed with prostate cancer after a
biopsy
. I ignored the symptoms for many years and it cost me. In February 2018 I had surgery to remove my prostate hoping that would cure me, PSA never went to 0.

If only issue is low AMH, why haven’t we conceived!?
Feeling frustrated going into another round with only an extra trigger and some extra medication (regarding insulin, my uterine
biopsy
was borderline for this but kindly said they would prescribe after some convincing!).

Renal ultrasound and
biopsy
did not reveal cause or damage. Nephrologist says I'm bit of a puzzlement. Anyone else develop kidney problems after covid? I don't really know if I have ckd or if its " kidney problems other"! Any input will be helpful.

I was referred to a rheumatologist and the diagnosis was confirmed by a
biopsy
. I'm so grateful for the “Urgent” response from two hospitals that saved my right eye, and preserved a small sliver of vision in my left eye.

Active Surveillance
Hello everyone, I have had 2 biopsies in the last 2 years (the last one was in January 2023) with the latest one showing 1 out of 12 cores positive for Gleason 3+3 and another core suspicious for cancer. It was also noted on my last MRI that I had a bladder outlet obstruction. My PSA went as high as

Lupkynis helps protect kidneys with lupus nephritis and high proteinuria
Response rates were highest among patients in the least severe kidney
biopsy
class, meaning those with less kidney damage. Still, response rates were numerically greater across Lupkynis-treated patients, regardless of
biopsy
classification.
