UK and abiraterone availability

This may be old news but I just heard that Abi is finally off patent in the UK. This should mean that the NHS will now prescribe for HSPCa. (Currently restricted for this group unless you started it in Covid as alternative when chemo not possible). If it still can't be prescribed via NHS , it will now at least be affordable out of pocket. So for those who might benefit (see the research info provided by TA) and who are currently excluded by NHS rules it's worth having that discussion with your oncologist. We are still however awaiting final decision on NHS funding LU 177. Not looking too hopeful on that front. But at least olaparib is now available for BRCA, though there is something of a backlog on biopsy testing apparently. But again worth a question for those who are progressing on Abi or Enza.
