Possible urinary biomarkers of lupus nephritis identified in study
A kidney tissue
biopsy
is currently the gold standard for detecting kidney involvement in lupus nephritis, but this approach is limited by its invasive and imprecise nature, according to the authors.

Never ending balanitis and lichen sclerosus
I had this circumcision 30 days ago, and the
biopsy
result was lichen sclerosus. The surgeon said "It was lichen sclerosus, now it is not."

Losartan with NASH
My NASH score is F-3 S2 from a
biopsy
. I was also diagnosed with a reflux on my right leg (vericose veins). Is anyone taking Losartan with a NASH diagnosis? I don’t want to take anything that’s going to injure my liver.

Bladder Cancer Update,
She said just got your
biopsy
results back, can't tell you what was in then because she does not know yet but --- She had been told i was to have BCG treatment again (for the third times) and would I mind fitting three treatments in before Christmas. I bit her hand off but wonder why?

PSMA PET/CT verses
biopsy
should be considered. No lymphadenopathy or suspicious osseous lesions PIRADS X: Post treatment I don't understand the medical jargon in this report. I'm trying to figure out what to say to the urologist tomorrow. If it's true to form he will rush through the meeting.

Need practical advice re:RRP for 76 year-old in fair shape
Finally, this is premature, but obviously they will
biopsy
the removed tissue- despite the clean PSMA, is there a real chance there could be residual cancer somehow, and if that was your situation, how soon and what type of radiation did you have?

Lupus Diagnosis
She has an anti-Ro antibody and I understand she has had significant hair loss and a scalp
biopsy
at the (XX Hospital) did apparently suggest some lupus features. She does not however have anti-dsDNA antibodies antiphospholipid antibodies and has a normal complement C3 level.'

Mum has a
biopsy
with assisted CT arranged 21/12/23, after which we fear potential delays as a result of ongoing NHS strikes and bank holidays with Christmas and New Years.

Possible GCA?
I just read a pretty recent academic article about the efficacy of ultrasound rather than a
biopsy
of the temporal artery. I plan to ask if we can do that instead of a
biopsy
if they advise one. The ER doc seemed skeptical and unconcerned.

I have had the Ermap done
biopsy
taken before my second transfer and they didn’t find any nk cells nothing other that I was pre receptive at days 5.5. My endometrium lining was fine for transfer both times.

Results on Cervix
If it still lights up then we will do a
biopsy
. Not sure why it is showing up on Petscan. She said some times urine can back up in the cervix 🤔🤔🤔. And this will cause it to show up. Otherwise meds are working. Petscan showing clear results on spine, stomach and lung.

However, since then I have had a heart attack and to cap it all I had a
biopsy
yesterday on what was thought to have been a keratosis and will be having the results via FaceTime, during my holiday. I will obviously need to fill them in on that.

Planning for transfer #5 but terrified
A polyp removed in June and a normal
biopsy
after that. Part of me feels like I'm wasting time and money, part of me is still hopeful, desperate to complete my family. This isn't a question, just a vent. I'm scared to go on and equally scared to stop .

Question re: Ablation of Liver Mets
When I was scheduled for a
biopsy
of the liver (a year ago), I asked my doc if they could ablate the tumor at that time and she "found/chose" a surgeon who would do this. So it seemed to be non-routine.
