Is it worth it?
An MRI revealed PIRADS lesions and a TRUS ultrasound
biopsy
of 15 cores revealed 10 with cancer, 3 of them Gleason 4+3. I went to a major cancer center to be treated. They started me on Casodex and Lupron and I have 26 planned radiation treatments next month. Lupron has been a nightmare.

NALD was diagnosed after I was told I had liver cancer
Two weeks later I had a
biopsy
and then was told no cancer but NALD. Now I get an ultrasound every six months because I was told my liver could turn to cancer at any time.

Health Update
The consultant says it is cancer and will be confirmed by the
biopsy
. Lucky it's caught early and doesn't look like it's spread to the lymph nodes. The plan is breast conservation therapy. A lumpectomy and radiotherapy.

Is anyone familiar with the GUN trial?
So far the information we have about his cancer: CT scan inadvertently found the tumour at the end of November; PSA 5.9; prostate MRI - no signs of mets;
biopsy
Gleason 9, intraductal in one sample, perinueral in another, bulging of the capsule, no sign the cancer has left the prostate yet.

SBRT process just starting
Gleason scores of 3+3 in three samples and 3+4 in one sample out of 19 total samples taken six months ago during a "targeted"
biopsy
. Decipher test done and the result was 0.58 just below high risk category starting at 0.60. My urologist suggested either RP or RT.

second recurrence
They have not been able to
biopsy
it as I have just had a DVT and so I am on blood thinners and it would be difficult to get to. My team are convinced the cancer has returned and I was started on Chemo. yesterday. Feeling very low I thought I would have had more time NED.

32 year old wife diagnosed with F4 Fibrosis over biopsy. Can still it be reversed only with dietary changes ? Please pray for her.
Doc again suggested for
biopsy
to get the confirmation about autoimmune and cirrhosis. However before
biopsy
I went for MRI which didn’t showed the cirrhosis. It again created more confusion and later we went for
biopsy
with a result showing consistent with cirrhosis and Autoimmune ruled out.

Lorazepam experiences for one-off use
I was in quite a state after the
biopsy
and it was nothing like this procedure will be. I guess it’s because it’s right under my eyes. On my face and the whole thing about somebody doing this to your face.

Suspected Bechets - affecting me mentally & physically
They have taken a deep tissue
biopsy
and believe I have Bechets due to my current symptoms and medical history. I was just wondering if anyone could to tell me what the next steps will be?

Biopsy results help
My
biopsy
results from this surgery appear on my hospital app and they say “negative for endometriosis”. How can this be and does it have any bearing on my diagnosis?? It’s made me feel anxious tbh. I’ve been through so much on this journey already.

Meeting with our oncologist for castrate resistance metastatic prostate cancer
Normally he would have seen the urologist, had a
biopsy
, etc. My dad was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer in Oct 2022 in the ER with escalating back pain.

Dana Farber 2nd opinion?
Perhaps I need a new liquid
biopsy
to see if anything has changed? I haven't had the ESR1 mutation, but that could change. Thanks, Chris

Anyone out there who can advise on how to transition between Pramipexole and Gabapentin?
After the gall stones removal my LFT's were so bad that I was again hospitalised and finally given a liver
biopsy
which I'm pleased to say was normal. The consultant at the hospital is convinced that I had drug induced liver injury due to Pramipexole.

Thank you Angela for sharing your story!
The doctor referred me to a specialist who thought it was OK but took a
biopsy
all the same. The results came back as melanoma in-situ and I was booked in urgently to have a wide local excision.

Rant - so fed up
Just here for a very long rant and to see if anyone can offer any suggestions going forward.Still no diagnosis (all endo symptoms) pain started Mar22, had an ultrasound Nov22, lap July 23, adhesions and was told 'indications' of endo after surgery (whatever that means),
biopsy
came back negative so no
