Hello everyone Please some one help me to figure out things if any of you have gone through the same things. I had a chronic pelvic pain and right side of my lower abdomen pain. I went to several GP appointments and finally got a referral to a gynecologist and they did a laparoscopy. Also sent my tissues to biopsy and results came as one overian got fibrosis and the other one is suggestive endometriosis. During the laparoscopy they insert marina. Bow I'm 4 weeks complete and still got bad pelvic pain and now my joints started getting very sore. Pelvic pain goes to down the legs..after the surgery they told my itres is enlarged and didn't say why. Is it normal to have these kind of pains after a laparoscopy? It has come to a stage I can't walk sometimes.. its very sore. Please help me of you know anything related to these symptoms.

Thank you so much

Hi, sorry to hear you are in such discomfort. It sounds like the laparoscopy was an investigative one rather than a treatment, the marina coil alone maybe causing you pain as well as untreated endometriosis .Have they offered further treatment? I would personally go back to GP and ask what they intend to do with fibrosis and enlarged uterus ,these thing can’t be cured by the coil .You shouldn’t be in pain after 4 weeks.xx

Thank you so much for taking time and replying to my post. It means a lot to me as I'm struggling physically and mentally. Yes it's a diagnosis laparoscopy and they found endometriosis and told looks like stage one and also informed they have send it to biopsy . During the laparoscopy they insert marina and told it will ease the pain and reduce the bleeding. After surgery 1sr time I got my periods and it was 8 to 10 days bleeding, not bad as before. Since laparoscopy surgery my pain hasn't gone down and now my all joints started getting sore..and my pelvic pain goes down the legs. It's very sore.. and sometimes I can't walk. I don't know what to do I feel helpless..

Do you know what is fibrosis means ? My left overian got fibrosis and right one got suggestive endometriosis. I don't know if they will accept a hysterectomy as I'm not planning to have more kids. I'm blessed with 3. It's really hard for me to do day to day activities ..not even standing and do cooking. My whole family get affected due to this. Please help me if you know anything related to this. Really appreciate 🙏

hi, I think fibrosis is scarring or adhesions, sometimes ovary cysts burst and cause the body to react and heal causing thickening of the tissue..I would go back to the GP and ask for a second opinion on the coil ,they are renowned for making periods heavier in woman with Endo ,it’s not a treatment.Hysterectomy is last resort but you could maybe explain to them that you feel it would be the best solution for yourself. They may offer Prostap it is a treatment to put you into a chemical menopause, that can help ease the pain from Endo ,depending on how severe it is…my strongest advise is go back and insist on another opinion. This disease is tough enough but when your not getting the right treatment it makes it even harder. The back pain and abdomen pain is tiring ,have you tried heat pads ,they stick on under clothes and give a few hours ease, doesn’t take it away but helps to get through chores a little.sending big hugs.xx
