Terratoma with a neuroendocrine tumour stage 1 3c, anybody
There was talk of repeat scans and a
biopsy
but they've decided to wait until my next scan which is on the 24th of June. I still have a lot of pain under left rib and up and down my left side. General aches and pains and crazy fatigue someday. I'm 49, so perimenopausal.

More worry
š Report from recent endoscopy appeared to be all good, however there was a "possible" Barretts Tongue seen and so
biopsy
has been taken to rule Barretts out.

My
biopsy
results from this surgery appear on my hospital app and they say ānegative for endometriosisā. How can this be and does it have any bearing on my diagnosis?? Itās made me feel anxious tbh. Iāve been through so much on this journey already.

Moving on to Provenge/Sipuleucel-t
A recent lab
biopsy
didn't reveal much... The good doc said he's a good candidate for immunotherapy at this stage; the point is to boost and tailor his immune system to help fight the cancer and also will retain a decent QOL. So Provenge infusions will begin in a few week's time.

On a rollercoaster
Hopefully my
biopsy
results will be know this week.Sleep has been difficult and Netflix has been a godsend when I wake in the wee small hours. I think I I'm now in denial, surely the consultant got it wrong! This rollercoaster of emotions, waiting and over thing is too much.

My CLL has Transformed
I am going for a
biopsy
next week to confirm diagnosis. If RT confirmed, then I will be admitted to Upenn for 5 days of intensive chemo EPOCH, since I have the tp53 and 17p mutations.

Please advise about treatment
Do we need a
biopsy
of the prostate? Do we need any treatment of the prostate? My Dad already had 6 weeks of radiation for prostate back in 2021, Dr Kishan said he canāt do anymore SBRT to prostate. Please let me know your opinion. As always thank you so much for all your help over the years.

Stage 1 Breast Cancer - Post Surgery Treatment
Post surgery
biopsy
results suggests that the calcification (cancer cells) were completed removed, the margins around it tested negative and the lymph node testing was also negative. This confirmed stage 1 of the cancer. Dr. has recommended starting with 1.

Large Lympe nodes.
Am waiting for
biopsy
results, but concerned what current treatment is out there to resolve the problem. Anyone else with similar issues?

We have not done a

Recent Radical Surgery
Hi All, diagnosed after
biopsy
in December 2023 with 2 hits, one was a Gleason 4+3 and one was a Gleason 4+4. Just had the Radical Davinci Robotic Prostatectomy in March and my pathology seemed all good.

Genetic Testing?
Does anyone have an experience to share about getting genetic testing done on your
biopsy
samples? I'm interested in three tests: (1) a DECIPHER test, (2) a full gene sequencing of tumor DNA and RNA (e.g., at Claris Labs), and (3) the Artera AI analysis of digitized pathology slides.

Increasing Prednisone to 40 mg?
For better or worse, I have been searching for various diagnoses, since my GCA
biopsy
was negative. I do realize this does not totally rule out GCA. I have come across Takayasu arteritis as a possible diagnosis. I value your thoughts and opinions. Thank you for being there.

PSP Diagnosis Changed to PD
He had the SYN-1 skin
biopsy
about six weeks ago. Yesterday, the results came back showing the protein for PD. The body-movement neurologist said he could not explain the eyes and is referring us to a neuro-ophthalmologist to see if he can figure out his eyes. Has this happened to anyone else?
