Anybody have this with asthma and find drugs don't work in any aspect of their lives? I was told by Cardiff Hospital that I probably have a Neanderthal gene which they associate with food allergies, diabetes and passing out when nervous. This gets more terrifying with age when you need statins etc.

Advice Please
Hi After weeks or trying to get my blood test results, the chemist in our GP surgery has said my thyroid is fine. She said the results were as follows TSH 1.34 (0-3.5) T4 18.1 (11-23) The thyroid function test did not includeT3, TG antibodies or TPO. The bloods were taken 6 weeks after I stopped

CoQ10 Good or Bad? Necessary? Reaching a Conclusion, Coenzyme Q10, Statins, Prostate Cancer
I've reached the point of exhaustion on research. I feel I have a good a reasonable good grasp on everything, except CoQ10. And interestingly out of all the drugs and supplements discussed in this forum it is one discussed relatively much less than virtually all the other supplements and drugs. It's

Statins and levothyroxine
I am on 75mcg levothyroxine and about a month or so ago was put on Atorvastatin at the same time as other meds. After a few days I suffered terrible stomach pains - due to statins and some of the other meds taken causing constipation. The statin was reduced to 20mg from 40mg and all seemed OK but not

High cholesterol
Hi all, I am due to receive cholesterol results over the phone tomorrow and I would like to be prepared. I am a 37 year old female and I know that the familial high cholesterol is in my family, however, I had a cholesterol test about 10 years ago ‘prior to diagnosis’ and it was a healthy 3. However

Statins
My recent blood tests put me at a slightly higher risk of heart disease at 15%. In the UK my doctor is advising prescribing me statins. I have heard that there are natural options which may have less side effects. Can I ask advice from any guys who have to take them? Thanks.

Re; Statin
Following an audio call with my GP I am now off the statins (Atorvastatin) for a month. Hopefully no more leg pains. Follow up to see how to go forward. Fingers crossed 🤞

Statins Heart Attack
I was on astrovastation 80mg and have changed to Rosuvastatin 40mg. Is anyone who has had a heart attack on less dosage than these? GP said I need to be on this dosage as prevention? Overall cholesterol is 2.6.

Slight swelling and pain in right hand one week post angiogram procedure. Should I be worried?
My procedure went well and I didn’t require a stent which is good news. I’m only needing to take statins. However 5 days post procedure I noticed the swelling on my forearm just above wrist ( opposite side of wrist to the wound site which is healing well). I did rest it post procedure followed all guidance

GP surgery have me in tears again,
Long running saga which sorry for expletives in advance is really getting on my TITS now. You know that feeling when you begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel and some bastard pinches the bulb or forgets to put money in the meter. So I haven' felt 100% for years but you know how women
