statins
hi, after annual blood tests, I have been told I am high risk for a heart attack, even tho cholesterol 4.5. And have to take atarvastatin, alongside Bisoprolol and Rivaroxoban and candesartan that I already take, does anyone else take these and do you have any side effects?

Statins and Metformin for Ovarian cancer
Hello, This forum has been such a huge support for me while I go through this journey with my partner. Lately I have read some studies regarding the efficacy or metformin and statins for ovarian cancer. Seems there maybe some benefits from these drugs. Since my partner does not have high cholesterol

Statins and coffee
I've just a read a line in a piece supposedly in the Daily Express that says coffee might reduce the protective effects of statins. A treatment’s effect on atherosclerosis
Greetings! A question on the topic in the title was asked by maresba14. One important response from Identiy addressed how atherosclerosis is a common condition in life even in those whose blood lipids are excellent. Nevertheless, doctors should evaluate their patients at least once in their lives

Statins
Has anybody with thyroid problems had bad experiences while taking statins? I think some of my adverse reactions may have been thyroid storms.

Statins and PMR
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3402515/#__ffn_sectitle I recently came across this article from 2020. There may well have been discussion about it on the list in 2020 which I may have missed. Can I ask did any of you PMR sufferers decide to stop taking statins to see if it helped? And
