Vitamin D3 and Bisoprolol.
Been given by gp vitamin D3 as she thinks my pins and needles and cramps are down to a deficiency in D vit deficiency. Anyway I’ve looked but can’t see an answer. When is the best time to take the vitamin? I take 2.5mg of bisoprolol in morning when I awake. Around 9-10am. As vitamin affects melatonin

New to the forum, my husband is 5+ years since MPC diagnosis
My husband was diagnosed in 2013 with MPC at the age of 53. His PSA was 779; Zoladex brought it down to 60; oral DCA brought it down to 29; the "Pfeifer Protocol" brought it down to 1.5. He cut out alcohol (although not a huge drinker), dairy, did a raw vegan diet strictly for a year, now does a combination

Melatonin - a Full Service Anti-Cancer Agent: Inhibition of Initiation, Progression and Metastasis.
Here is another paper from 2017 [1]: "There is highly credible evidence that melatonin mitigates cancer at the initiation, progression and metastasis phases. In many cases, the molecular mechanisms underpinning these inhibitory actions have been proposed. What is rather perplexing, however, is the large

Melatonin - AR-V7 Splice Variant.
The study below [1] is a cell study from last year. I don't think it has been posted before. As many here know, a common reason for resistance to Zytiga or Xtandi is selection for androgen receptor [AR] splice variant dominance, particularly for AR-V7. AR-V7 is AR without the bit where the androgen

New review paper from Spain below. I have been using melatonin for PCa for 15 years. Initially at 40 mg before bed; ultimately at 50 mg as per change in LEF recommendation. But not before I reviewed the literature. This is the PCa section: "3. Melatonin and Hormone-Dependent Prostate Cancer Prostate

Trouble Sleeping, anyone else??
Recently have had trouble sleeping. I used to use med. marijuana but I just got accepted into nursing school and will be drug tested and even legal marijuana is prohibited. It’s very hard for me to go to sleep, in fact, I’m so anxious about being able to fall asleep it makes it worse like an endless

Melatonin
I have prescription sleeping pills but they don't help much. My doctor suggested trying melatonin as a supplement. I've just bought some and wondered if anyone else has used it?

Hi there! I just need to scream and let things out. I feel nobody understands me and feel lonely. I got to the point where I feel God is not listening to my prayers and that he will punish me with an illness and die soon. I've been struggling with anxiety for 5 months now and I feel I will never be the

Hiya. Has anyone here tried melatonin as a sleeping aid? I tried a 3mg dose and though it did make me feel very drowsy,it still wasn't enough to make me want to sleep. I've read that a 10mg dose might help, but I'm kind of worried since I've only started it?

Melatonin: More than just sleep support ~ from Mark Hyman's weekly email
Melatonin is usually only associated with sleep. It’s taken by those who struggle to fall asleep or stay asleep in an effort to get that high-quality rest for better health I talk about so often. Many people find it’s helpful for regulating their sleep patterns, which includes those with insomnia and

You can do this!
I just want to let you guys know that this will pass! Whatever feeling you have, is only temporary. It won’t feel like, it feels like it will last forever, but it won’t. I currently am dealing with GAD and have had anxiety for 8 years now. Cured for 3 but do to some circumstances I’ve relapsed back

Anyone else had insomnia on Ropinirole? What do I try next?!
Hello all I have severe PLMS and have had an iron infusion (ferritin level remains good five months later), pregabalin 100mg (couldn't cope with the side effects) and ropinirole 1mg. I barely slept for the month I was on ropinirole and, from what I can find here and on the net generally, this isn't

Having trouble sleeping through the night
I’m halfway through my second week at my new job so I don’t think I’m still having trouble adjusting from going to bed at 5am to going to work at 6 am. My schedule will adjust to 4am in a couple weeks which I have mixed feelings about but think will ultimately be good for me. My problem(s) are that

Amfexa - Adult ADHD - Obsessions?
I'm wondering if anyone can offer me some advice. My husband of 30 years was diagnosed with ADHD last year. This happened after what he calls a 'breakdown'. He basically just closed off to me and the family and moved out/disappeared while I was pregnant. He said everyone had too many expectations on

Hello Everyone :) I'm new to the forum and first want to say, WOW, so nice to see how many bright individuals are sharing their experiences with RLS and are so well informed. I am a 45 year old female. RLS runs in my family, my mother used to call it "Crazy Legs" and even as a child I remember nights
