Biotin, has anyone tried it?
I'm starting to take biotin to fix my hair problem. This is still my 5th days so I can't give result soon. But I want to share things that I experienced. I think I got more itchy on the skin that has hair, my scalp, my eyebrow and even my eyelashes, so it makes my eyes feels bad too. Because of that

Random nerve firings with anxiety
Does anyone experience some brief nerve symptoms like buzzing, burning, flutter, electric shock in various areas like skin on my hands, roots if my teeth, inner thighs under the skin or behind eyes for example? I know anxiety can mimic anything but this sounds like some neuropathy to me or Lyme disease

“Clinical outcomes of asleep vs awake deep brain stimulation for Parkinson disease,”
Good to know: "The results, published in the journal Neurology, suggested that it is better for patients to sleep through the surgery. Additionally, traditional forms of deep brain stimulation surgery often cause patients to lose speech fluency. Matthew Brodsky, MD, an associate professor of neurology

Is taking Biotin causing your B12 to show higher than it really is?
I saw these links in the thyroid forum and thought all b12 folks, those with just above deficiency range (and therefore cant get injections) and those with super high, possible functionally def. Would be interested. https://endo.confex.com/endo/2016endo/webprogram/Paper24687.html https://endocrinenews.endocrine.org

More about the shingles vaccine and its downsides
I have posted before about the shingles vaccine listing PMR as a possible adverse event. https://healthunlocked.com/pmrgcauk/posts/134436076/the-shingles-vaccine-debate-and-pmr Today I found this gem to add to it: http://info.cmsri.org/the-driven-researcher-blog/merck-admits-shingles-vaccine-can-cause-eye-damage-and-shingles

Exposure to shingles.
My daughter, age 43, has been diagnosed with presumptive case of shingles. She's being treated with an antiviral. I had chicken pic, herpes zoster oticus ( same as daughter, coincidence?) And I have had the shingles vaccine? Should I stay away from her and if so for how long? Btw, the other potential

Anyone else dizzy on High Dose Biotin?
Anyone else dizzy on High Dose Biotin? My neurologist suggested looking into high dose biotin to reverse M.S. I've been doing great on a nutritional diet only, similar to the Whal's Protocol, avoiding processed foods, eating nearly all fruits and veggies, with sides of meat, fish, seafood. Been on

Nail and Hair Changes on Ibrutinib
A range of systemic drugs has been found to induce nail changes. More recently nail and hair changes have been described also in patients treated with targeted therapies, such as inhibitors of multiple tyrosine kinase receptors, BRAF inhibitors and epidermal growth factor receptors (EGFR) inhibitors.

problems associated with encephalocele include cleft palate
Stranger than strange. I am Irish and being born in Ireland there is a problem with health records and in 2012 I was diagnosed with an unilateral cleft palate, in the 5 years since I have come to learn via on-line research that this mean I have always had a white matter volume loss and frontal lobe issues

Hypothyroidism and complications?
I'm a new member. I've just had my thyroxine increased after scans showed my pituitary gland is very enlarged and pressing on my brain and my TSH levels are totally out of control. I also have a growth in the centre of my brain which could be a pineal cyst or something worse also creating pressure on

Essential Tremors
Although I do not have Parkinson’s, I do have essential tremors which are profound. A year ago I had DBS surgery on the right side and this has proven to be outstanding. I feel that I am in the wrong forum. Maybe there is another forum for essential tremors which may be more beneficial.
