If you have a super strong eyeglass prescription please read this

OK so for months and months and months I have been struggling with dizziness and thinking it was a brain tumor. I am 18 years old and I’m pretty sure I could be legally blind without my glasses (my eyesight is super bad guys) I legit thought it was a tumor in my brain, I went to my eye doctor and she said that she’s saw absolutely no symptoms of a brain tumor in my eyes. Apparently you can test for all types of brain tumors through your eyes. So I went and got that done and I’ve been wondering what the heck is happening. So I was looking through my drawers looking for something when I found an old pair of glasses of mine. Just for giggles I put them on and found that I did not have any dizziness from then! I couldn’t see perfectly out of them no but I didn’t have many dizziness. I looked at my mom and said “It’s the lenses!!!!” So 4 months after going to the eye doctor initially I went back and I had them put my current perscription in my old frames. Come to find out my current glasses have polycarbonate lenses in them. Polycarbonate lenses are very thick and can cause dizziness and distortion in them for people with strong prescriptions. So my old frames have High-Index lenses. They are thin and light weight and very nice for people with high prescriptions. So if you have dizziness from your glasses check the lense material. It may save your sanity from thinking you have a brain tumor!

That's a very interesting point you've made there, I'm very short sighted and have always used the thin lens material so haven't had the problem but it's good to know.
