I stumbled across site today. I contracted Bacterial Meningitis back in 1993 (news article: deseretnews.com/article/326... ---> I was the sixth). I spent 26 days in the hospital, a week of which was spent on life support. They told my mom I would never walk again, and I spent the rest of my time during a lot of rehab. I was able to walk out of the hospital using a walker. It has been nearly 24 years and I'm perfectly fine. I am interested in hearing / reading more about Meningitis and what others have / are experiencing. I've always been interested in finding out what happened to the other 5 individuals that contracted meningitis at the same time I did. Maybe I could find them here?

Thanks,

Dave
