How do I cope now?
Can someone please give me advice on how to cope? My husband died on Friday morning at the local hospice.(less than 24 hours ago) He had COPD and although we knew he was ill it was not expected yet least of all by the medical staff. I have not been to sleep since Friday morning when I got the phone

Asthma Medication
Hi All, Sitting at home and struggling yet again I thought I'd try to do something to try to keep my mind off my chest but was useful too to me and anyone else with asthma, so I thought I'd put together a list of meds available for treating asthma. I have tried most out there and found the best combination

Why does the depression take back over I just don't understand.....
I was feeling better after a long few months of a hard struggle and then after a great week I woke up Saturday feeling overwhelmed and so angry, I got through the day and apologized to my son who got the brunt of my mood and today I woke up feeling suicidal, not to the point of doing anything but thinking

I suffered from IBS about 25 years ago but it all settled down until about two years ago which coincided with stressful family situations. I have had blood tests, barium enema and ultrasound over last two years and everything appears to be normal. My GP would like to refer me if symptoms don't improve

Stomach cramps and nausea 3 months post op.
Hi all, my husband has been experiencing stomach cramps and nausea quite a lot, he has been also been constipated which probably accounts for these symptoms, but as a precautionary measure his consultant has requested a barium swallow, which has got him nervous again thinking the worst. Has anybody experienced

My Doctor is an A-hole
I've been suffering from pretty bad depression, anxiety, self-harming, hearing voices and actually attempted to take my life a few months ago. I've since been referred to a psychiatrist, who was, to say the least, less than helpful. I've been on Trazadone for years and feel they're not doing anything

I woke up one morning 4 years ago with morning diahorrea which has continued religiously every morning (just once thankfully!!!!) till the present day. Any experience/results with alternative therapies?
If any of you have experiences to share it would be much appreciated! I have tried an independent nutritionist (bad experience - one session cost me £100 and the only thing she recommended which has been of any use is Epsom salts!) and am about to go for my second acupuncture session this week. The first

Hi All I already have OA lumbar spine and hip, FM and Right bundle branch block of heart, IBS. Recently started getting a lot of abdominal pain and blood in stools and urine. Could I be celiac despite my tests all being negative?
I have been suffering from digestive issues for the past 4 years now. Having undergone blood tests, barium enema, sigmoidoscopy and endoscopy which all came back clear I have been diagnosed with a functional bowel disorder. My symptoms are mainly nausea, morning diahorrea, extreme fatigue and light-headedness
