Still fighting thru darkness
If anyone has read my posts before , they will know that my mom had an accident , C2 fracture - and an NG tube down her throat for 4 months- that complete;y changed the physiology and the psychology of her eating . - Before the accident less than a year ago, swallowing food was never an issue . .

Aneamia & Ferrous Sulphate
When I became aneamic,I was told to eat iron-rich foods and bloods will be tested again after a month. My own GP is on holiday and I saw a different one this week to ask for a new prescription for Pred. He also gave me a prescription for Ferrous Sulphate 200mg twice daily. I am not sure whether to take

Has anyone else experienced this, two days ago my back started itching and then the rash grew and spread all over and creating over my shoulders, it is covered in red welts and is driving me crazy! I forgot this yesterday, sorry
Advice time again, do you have to get an MRI? They actually have open machines. it is like going into 2 slices of bread. Wide open on the sides, makes it a little less claustrophobic, still did not work for me, so I went to VALIUM. Take as prescribed and sleep through it, remember not to drive

Trigemina Neuralgia advice.
Not what I would wish on even my ex-wife and I truly do not wish any good for her. The only thing that worked for me was CyberKnife surgery. I believe that they have a number of facilities nationwide. If you can afford it travel and get them to help you, actually if you can't afford it travel anyway

ANXIETY AND HAND TREMORS
I recently began having a sense of inner shakiness and hand tremors, particularly between 4pm and 6pm. ANXIETY feeds off itself so it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. I guess I am realizing that this condition could be forever. Does anyone have the same experience ?My diagosis is is likely PMR/GCA

2 year old with pneumonia and potentially asthma?
Hi, I'm new here and a mummy to a two-year-old girl who has just been discharged from hdu following a very severe episode - high work of breathing that didn't respond to salbutamol nebs or oxygen on the mask. In the end she turned around slowly with the help of airvo and magnesium sulphate. She was diagnosed

Iron Deficiency May Predict Greater Risk for Hypothyroxinemia: A Retrospective Cohort Study of Pregnant Women in China
One of the parts of the thyroid jigsaw that is most often repeated here is the importance of iron levels. Here, in the context of pregnancy, another paper highlighting the importance of adequate iron. Yet, most of the time, we hear of standard treatment being ferrous sulphate - and the difficulty people

Hello. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's last April, on 50mcg of Synthroid (levothyroxine). I should be on a higher dosage but can not tolerate it. When I was first diagnosed they had me on 100mcg and I was over medicated. My tsh dropped from 15 to 0.8 in one month and I ended up at the hospital with

On the IC!!
Well, yesterday I posted I’d done my week 4 5k and would be going for a walk round Dartmoor National Park. The walk started off really well, beautiful day, lovely location, packed out and we only just managed to park but it was lovely and cool under the trees. We decided to do the 4 mile round trip.

This is not a cure but I find taking valium, gabapentin or lyrica and now CBD oil helps immensely with my pain.

anxiety around sharing a bathroom is ruining my life
Hello, I'm new here :) Long story short I have recently moved out and for the first time I'm sharing a bathroom in a house with thin walls. I'm used to having my own bathroom, with a noisy fan, that I can use away from people to manage my IBS. However the anxiety around an IBS flare up in the new house

RLS Relief
There's one medication I have taken that works 100% and has never failed...Valium. I was on the smallest dose and had zero problems. I have it so severe, I'm up till 3 am after going to bed at 10 PM, doing squats and running up and down the stairs trying to fatigue my muscles. I've cried and thought
