Illness and taking T3 - something to consider?
just a thought I wanted to put out there and see what everyone else thinks… I am now prescribed T4 and T3 and it has been a bit of a life changer for me. Previous to the T3 being added, I was on mono T4 for years. To get out of bed and function, I had to have my T4 over range, whilst my T3 was scrapping

Covid question
I’ve avoided Covid up until now. My partner and I picked it up in Cuba. Started with what we thought was food poisoning, the dreaded diarrhea. It’s now been 14 days. We’ve had chills, fevers, fatigue and daily diarrhea. I’m at the final three months of V treatment so was advised to start the antiviral

Cold weather trigger?
Does anyone else find that getting cold or being out in cold weather / air can cause problems?Cold air in the throat while out power walking, or simply realising I'm cold - it happened today - can combine to make me realise I'm going to become tachy and need warmth and to sit down (get a pip Bisoprolol

Hi all I'm newbie. Anyone here have lung damage due to Amiodarone treatment?
Rather than going into too much detail I will keep it brief. Was prescribed Amiodarone for AFib and took it for a total of four months six days. After being on it for 3 months I started coughing mostly while asleep. Also started to get really bad pain in left lung lobe that was much worse if I lay on

internal shingles
hi, I’ve been diagnosed with internal shingles and it’s the most painful thing I have ever experienced. I’m on my last day of Aciclovir, I’m taking paracetamol and codeine during the day and 3 amitriptyline at night, this has been going on for over a week. Is this normal? Any advice gladly accepted

chest infection
I am currently tapering from 30mg to 25mg prednisolone for GCA. (been taking pred since February). I have had a productive cough and what I believe is a chest infection for 2 weeks. It is definitely better this week than last week and the guaifenesin I have taken has helped. I do not feel unwell

Period flu?
Just wondering if anyone is experiencing what I am. I underwent excision surgery for stage 3 endo in November, however more recently the pain is worsening again but right now that’s not the worst symptom- the last 3/4 months, either during or instantly after my period I’m hit with the WORST flu/cold

BFP last week but now ill with suspected COVID.
Tested positive after my FET but ever since I’ve been feeling poorly with covid symptoms. Persistent cough, fever, headaches etc. I’m worried that this will impact the pregnancy because it’s so early on - any advice? My viability scan isn’t until 22/12 and I feel like I’m going to be an absolute mess

Round and round
had last O treatment end of June. I have been sick since 3 rounds of upper respiratory which has turned to pneumonia I can’t get out of this cycle. Supposed to see ms dr tomorrow to discuss pushing O back to 6 months I’ve been on 5 month. X-ray showed Mass on lungs which is either pneumonia or the big
